Customers say: Quick response

"Driveway was paved and sealed by this company with a year guarantee. I was in touch with them within 6 months of the finished job. Asphalt breaking and cracking. 6 months later they came out and looked at it. All they offered was to spray more sealer. My driveway was installed on 7/7/2020. So, in 2 years my driveway has the appearance of a heavily used interstate and is crumbling, cracking, and falling apart. A lot of money for a very bad job. I should have reviewed other companies. Expensive Lesson learned"

"Jesse with T&H Sealing & Paving did an amazing job for us. We had several companies come out and give quotes for two parking lots and two driveways. These were extremely old and broken concrete lots. Jesse was able to communicate his knowledge and expertise with this type of work. Upon request, Jesse provided references of past clients. He answered all questions and concerns. In the end, we made the right choice and would happily recommend him to anyone looking for asphalt paving. "

"Jaco did a great job on leveling our front sidewalk leading up to the porch. They also repaired a crack in our foundation. We were very happy with the results on both jobs. After the initial call they promptly sent someone out to give an estimate and the work was done quickly. Their pricing was very reasonable. We will definitely use them in the future if the need arises. "

"I hired them to construct a small pull off in front of the house. They came out immediately built a rock pad and we to return to pave the area for which they were paid. They have never returned to pave sighting asphalt shortage. Money for that service was not refunded"

FAQs for asphalt paving installation projects in Bardstown, KY

Most driveways wrap up in roughly a week. Allow two to three days for installation, followed by an additional two to three days for the surface to cure. Concrete and asphalt follow this timeline, whereas a gravel job often finishes more quickly. Laying out the schedule upfront makes it easier to plan your week and your budget.

Sealer prevents water, salt, and UV rays from damaging the surface. Apply a fresh coat every one to three years, and you’ll slow down the growth of cracks, avoid pricey repairs, and keep the driveway looking sharp. A local professional can handle the job efficiently and ensure even coverage.

Material is the significant driver when it comes to the lifespan of a driveway. Asphalt stays strong for about 20 years, concrete lasts 30 to 40 years, and paver stones can last 50 to 100 years because you can swap out damaged bricks. With regular top-ups, a gravel drive can also reach the century mark. Knowing these timelines helps you map out long-term maintenance and replacement costs.

Repaving strips everything down and starts fresh, letting you change the layout or improve drainage before pouring new material. Resurfacing, on the other hand, adds a top layer over a solid base, giving you a facelift without the need for a complete demolition. Go with repaving when the base is failing; choose resurfacing when the structure is sound and you just need a new surface.
