"The job took much longer than anticipated. About a month went by between the initial visit and when the job started. An estimate wasn't provided upon request and it was explained that the work was paid hourly and we would see how it progressed. The work was satisfactory but kind of sloppy (paint drops and specks found around the hardwood floor around the area that was painted, paint drops on granite pavers outside). The painting job of the doors had to be completely redone because the wrong paint was used. We bought the wrong paint but were surprised that he, as the professional, didn't know that it was the wrong paint until it started peeling. The re-do of the painting ended up having the job cost much more because of the extra hours billed. We were expecting better quality overall, so that is why we are grading it as a "C" (fair)."

He dispatched a plumber who was there 45 minutes after my original call! The plumber, John, was exactly the sort of experienced, seasoned expert I was seeking. He correctly identified the source of the leak, repaired the problem, meticulously explaining the problem and giving me opportunities to clean where appropriate once he removed the toilet. The pricing was exactly as advertised and he even went out of his way to make sure I used an Angie's list coupon when I forgot. Additionally he referred me to a mitigation team which was exactly what I needed to do the next steps in the repair who so far have also proven to be stellar. To sum up, I got exactly the service I needed, on extremely short notice, with an extremely experienced professional. Pricing was transparent and fair. I now feel I finally have a plumbing team I can count on in emergencies."
