"From beginning to end it went really well. Greg is a walking encyclopedia of trees and good practical advice on how to manage them. His proposal was clearly written and lower than two other firms. The crew was right on time, wasted no time getting set up and taking the tree down, and removed a large limb from another tree that fell while they were working on the dead tree. They climbed up about 50 feet in a twin trunk tree and installed a cable between the twins to help stabilize the lesser twin. Very pleased with them, enough to recommend them to my neighbor who also used them for a dead tree in their front yard."

"I can't say enough good about this company. From the estimate to the completed job, this is one extremely professional company. I watched them cut down a very tall silver maple tree that was hanging over my house and my neighbor's house in between two sets of power lines. They never touched either roof or either power line, and it was quite interesting to see them methodically remove this tree. They used a crane for that one. Another tree that I had them remove, they climbed it to remove it step by step and carefully. They trimmed other tree limbs in my yard that were getting close to the house, and now my house is clear of tree limbs, which is what I set out to do given the violent thunderstorms that this area has been having lately. I don't have to worry about a tree falling on my house now. It looks so pretty and clear now. Clean up was excellent, the crew was excellent, and on top of all that, their price was the best of all the estimates I received. They also worked my job into their schedule so that I could be home during the job since I was off work that week. I give this company an A+ on every aspect of the job. "I contacted five tree removal companies to provide an estimate. The Greentree guy (I am sorry he verbally told me his name, but I have forgotten it).I provided him with my list of what exactly I wanted done and I accompanied him around the yard pointing out the trees and discussing the job. He seemed to know what he was talking about and provided me with what I thought was useful information. When we were finished, he verbally gave me an estimate and gave me some information about Greentree's schedule and openings. I thanked him for his time and he left. The estimate he gave me was the lowest estimate I received, however it was not written down nor did he provide me with any supporting paperwork like all the rest. It may just be me but I was someone uncomfortable with this approach to business. It may have worked out perfectly well if I had decided to go with Greentree, and maybe they are so busy they don't need to be more business like. In any case, despite the low estimate, I was just not comfortable with Greentree. Other's may feel differently."

"I first contacted Kurt about a year ago while I was figuring out how I wanted to proceed.  Kurt was always responsive to me whenever I contacted him.  When I was ready to move forward, Kurt came out and to see the problem and came up with a budget friendly solution, that I can expand upon.  
Since my project was rather small, a crew came out and completed everything in one day.  The entire area was dug under the tree and beyond in preparation for a swale of river rock and new plantings.    A drip water system was put under the mulch.  I spoke to Kurt in the morning when they were getting started and everything was completed by the time I got home from work.  Not only was everything beautiful, but all my old edging and stones were stacked neatly under my deck, and not a blade of grass was out of place.  
Kurt and I communicated a few more times to answer my remaining questions and wrap things up.  Everything was handled extremely professionally throughout the entire process and Kurt was always a pleasure to deal with.  I had a wonderful experience and I love my new landscaping.

"Tyson's did an excellent job from start to finish. The crane makes the work go faster and looks safer for the workers. Some delays to the starting date were unavoidable because of rainy weather, but once they came out they worked very quickly to remove the trees. Our large trees were all oaks that were 15-25 feet from the house in a heavily wooded back yard. They also went above and beyond by removing some wood left from a prior tree service and fixing damage that the other workers did to surrounding trees. Tyson's cleaned the yard very well and there was no damage (again, unlike the other tree service we hired this summer, which was a horrible experience). Our neighbors also hired Tyson's recently and had a great experience, so between that, their use of a crane, and the reasonable price, it was an easy decision. So glad we went with them. I can't recommend them enough. They are our new go-to tree company now."
