"We contacted JVI for a bid to install wood flooring and do interior painting of a new home we just purchased. My call was promptly answered and a time window for the bid was scheduled.  Dominic showed up at the end of the time window but still within the previously agreed upon window.  He was very professional, nice, and courteous during the bid as he measured and said he would have the bid to me by the end of the day. I asked to have each work item (painting, flooring install, etc..) broken out individually which he agreed would be no issue.  
     His bid was the last I recieved out of several bids that day. His excuse was that he was extremely busy which I can certainly understand.
     The price was astronomical. Easily doubled the price I ended up paying someone else to do the flooring install. Interior painting price was not quite double (about 90%) but still way too high.
     I also knocked them on professionalism overall bc during the constant back and forth conversation about selection of flooring, I was told that he would pass on the contract if I did not select flooring that was up to a certain quality. I was told quote " I do not want to subject my workers to low quality materials" This did not sit well with me and came off as condescending. 
     I'll end on a good note, communication and responsiveness was outstanding. All calls were answered right away and everything explained very well.
