"Tim arrived early with all of the materials needed. He took the counters of the bases. he took the tops outside to take off the old laminate. with the old laminate removed he began cutting the new stuff. very methodical. He cuts all the pieces so the grain ran in the same direction. When he was done all the edges fit perfectly together. I think he does it outside to keep the dust from his machine out. when he left you couldn't tell there was construction going on in my house. (the last guys left dust, nails and sawdust everywhere.) He's very neat and tidy and showed respect for my house"

We went to the grocery not realizing that a thunder storm was brewing up.  Before we could get back to the house, a really bad storm had blown through.  We have a dog that is terrified of storms.  During our absence, he ripped apart a box and ATE TWO OF THE SLATS IN OUR BLINDS.   Not a pretty sight.

I called the folks at Delightful Blinds and explained my dilemma. Although they were going on a rewards trip the next day they promised to get back to me when they returned.  Asking that I measure carefully where the little groves were on the slats where they fit into the mechanism.

Sure enough, they got back with me promptly after returning from their trip.   They somehow managed to get the replacement slats for me (plus a couple of extra, in case Ace eats the blinds again) for no charge.

NOW THAT IS TRUE CUSTOMER SERVICE.  They went out of their way to assist us.

I'll be using them again as I replace window treatments in our San Antonio home.

"I picked UB because of their excellent ratings and of course it was hard not to be influenced by the fact that The HGTV Property Brothers used them when they taped their shows in Austin.  We had previously visited their showroom on Longhorn Blvd and I really liked what I saw in terns of quality and options.  We had planned to remodel the kitchen earlier in the year and got sidetracked by a new HVAC system and ductwork.  When we were finally ready, I was a little dismayed that the timeframe for getting the cabinets installed was going to be in December due to their backlog.  However, everything went smoothly and according to plan and I had a whole new kitchen in 2 weeks.  We worked with Terry as our designer and she came up with a fabulous plan that more than tripled my counter space and gave me more cabinets that I ever could have imagined fitting into my small 70's galley kitchen. There is a reason these guys have consistently 5 star ratings. The whole team was great to work with, very professional and flexible.  I joke that my only complaint is that my kitchen is now nicer than the rest of my house!  But seriously, I needed to keep my cost down because I didn't want to spend more than we'd ever get back out of it given the age and value of the house.  They were sensitive to my budget constraints and helped me select the best options that fit my budget.  Never once did I feel pressured to do any more or any less.  I am extremely pleased with the end result and highly recommend them for any of your new cabinetry needs.

"They did the granite countertops and sinks in my kitchen and 2 of my bathrooms. They also did the tile, but I had them upgrade the tile.  Sometimes, it was a little difficult to get ahold of Henry, the owner. The granite guys did a great job. They were here when they said they would, the mounted the sinks perfectly, etc. The tile contractor, I wasn't as pleased with. The tile guy and his helper were a little late, and the tile guy left after a while. The helper continued and he worked slowly. At the end of the day, the helper said he'd be back tomorrow (Saturday). I waited and waited, and finally had to call Henry. The helper wasn't reliable, and the tile subcontractor himself came back and finished the work. I wasn't pleased with the work ethic of the tile helper."
