"<p>I called them after I had paid for an Angie's List "big deal" with Fairbanks.   I had paid the first company $59 for an inspection and reprogramming.  I had also wanted them to repair a small leak in the back yard while they were there.  Short of it, they had found 3 small leaks in the back and one large one in the front.  The guy had repaired the smaller ones first after I had instructed him not to until we knew how much the large one in the front would cost to repair.  Well he repaired the 3 back ones to the cost of an additional $106.  But the quote for the large front one was an additional $464.</p> <p>I contacted Allied Sprinkler and Repair and they had the problem fixed, straightened out a few heads in the front, reprogrammed the system and showed me how to reprogram in about 45 minutes.  I was very pleased and will contact them again with any problems.  My next door neighbor came home when they were finishing up and got their card.  I was very pleased!</p> <br />"

"We had a dozen lights in our yard that we had installed (ourselves) about 7 years ago, but after some home remodeling and a new landscape job, we decided we needed a more professional lighting job. <br /> Light it Right does excellent work; so good, in fact, that we asked them to come back 8 months after our initial installation to add more lights. They are professional, courteous, and responsive, and use high quality products. In addition, they are not only thorough and knowledgeable, but they gave us some great practical and aesthetic suggestions about placement and what type of lights might look best where. We especially appreciated the amount of time they spent with us demonstrating how the lights would look and ensuring that we were happy with everything. We had some very specific ideas and high expectations. Brandon and his crew were terrific.  <br /> In all candor, I have to admit that we had a little sticker shock when we got the initial cost estimate, especially compared to what our do-it-yourself job had cost. "The winter did a number on my lawn - mostly due to all the rain - resulting in fungus, dead areas, uneven drainage, etc. I’d also struggled with healthy shrubs from a previous company’s error. I found Jon on Angie’s List due to ranking and testimonials. I put in a request for a quote and he came out to take a look. He understood right away what needed attention. I was on the schedule promptly - I might add that I am impatient and a bit of a perfectionist. I cringed each time I went out with my dogs or pulled into my driveway to see my once beautiful lawn in the worst condition and just overrun with weeds. Those irritating kind of weeds that you can’t just pull easily. Anyway, Jon and his team came out and performed magic! They arrived on time - Jon arrived first and was already pulling weeds and doing some prep which included bringing plants over in his VERY nice personal automobile and then the crew arrived with everything else. They removed old mulch and anything else that was not healthy while saving and repositioning others in a better placement. The original quote was a bit more than my budget, but Jon pulled back a few things and reused some of what I had and I was happy. You get what you pay for and I don’t mind doing that for quality service and a new relationship that will maintain the work done. I’m releasing my previous vendor of their duty to fertilize and maintain my lawn and shrubs as it never seemed to thrive with all the money I spent. Jon will help a couple of times a year for maintenance and I know I can count on getting suggestions for how I can maintain things. Oh and he spent much of another afternoon working on my landscape light that wasn’t working properly. We’ll be adding additional lighting this summer, but for now, I will enjoy watching my lawn come back to life and looking through my windows to see pretty flowers and shrubs highlighting my home again! It’s time to have friends over to show it all off and start summer festivities!"
