"Absolutely Do Not Trust ProSeptic ? Scammers and Backyard Wreckers We hired ProSeptic to pump our septic tank shortly after buying our home. When they arrived, they claimed our leach field was failing and warned we could face fines if we did not replace it. Pressured, we agreed to a $10,000 job. Midway through, after tearing up our yard, they told us the system ?would not work? and pushed a different one for $30,000. We refused. What followed felt like sabotage. The work was sloppy, our yard was left a wreck, and our kids can not even play back there anymore. It was fine before. It is obvious they use bait-and-switch tactics: hook you with one price, then pressure you into paying much more. If you do not cave, you are left with garbage work. Avoid ProSeptic at all costs? they are not just unprofessional, they are predatory. "

He had to call in a water jet truck. His price including everything was only a few hundred more than the original company charged just to find it. He was so fair in his pricing. "I decided to go with Cassidy because out of the 4-5 different companies I contacted, they were the first to respond in a timely manner and their dispatch fee was affordable ($79 vs >$100). The actual service they provided went well. They were on time, finished the whole project within a couple hours and were professional. However, I did remove a star from my rating because they do overprice everything. I was able to cut down my total cost by >$300 by just buying my own supplies (ex: water faucet, basket strainer, faucet aerator, etc.). They were going to charge me $125 for something I was able to get for $4 and fix on my own, which I thought was ridiculous. Overall, I would recommend because they made the whole process go smoothly but I would just be aware of their pricing and make sure they don't trip you off."
