"Every home owner eventually needs (or will need) a new roof. Expense is one of the driving factors that usually determines the vendor BUT a more economical long range decision should be made based on quality. Quality of product, installation and service are essential components of this decision. This is why we chose to go with Power for our new roof and gutters. EVERY interaction with each employee was customer-centric. They patiently listened to our requirements and concerns and then offered effective solutions during and throughout the entire process. (The warranty was also the best available.) Power is a large company with multiple locations across the country, ours was headquartered in Maryland but the work was completed in Virginia. This geographic distance did not adversely effect the outcome. From the initial salesperson (who took the gutsy risk of letting me visit and talk with two neighborhood customers while he waited outside before signing our contract) through the schedulers, work execution and Quality Control final inspection we were well pleased. The work started on time and was completed on time. Numerous personal phone calls and visits by the Power inspectors provided us with the comforting conclusion that we made the correct choice for a truly professional contractor. With our 50 year labor and product warranty I doubt we will need to redo our roof in our lifetime BUT if we move we would definitely chose Power again! However, upon inspection by multiple roofers we were told it was done improperly and needed to be replaced. After getting a few quotes, we went with King Quality based on their reputation and their warranty. The roof was ripped and done within the same day. The next day all the gutters were replaced. Not only does the roof look absolutely beautiful, but I have no more leaks! We met with Jeff for the quote and he was wonderful. He helped us realize that it was more cost effective to replace the roof entirely, than to just patch the areas. The office staff was wonderful as well in terms of getting everything together!
