"We had a great experience working with this contractor. He did an excellent job on both our roof and deck. The roof needed a full replacement, including all new plywood since the existing wood was completely worn out, and everything was handled thoroughly and professionally. He also rebuilt our deck from the ground up using Trex decking because the base of the previous wood deck had rotted out. The transformation is incredible. It looks absolutely beautiful and feels solid and well-built. The team was professional, hardworking, and paid attention to detail throughout the entire project. We are very happy with the results and would definitely recommend them."

"The communication was very poor with messages relayed to the owner through an office assistant. She was very polite, but it made for much confusion. The job, which cost us over $10k, was initiated with the owner, but others did the work. I questioned doing a job of this magnitude in the winter and was told they do it all the time. The owner never returned to inspect the work or ask us how it went. At least three of the times I called I was told the owner would be *coming by today* but that never happened. We were told that to replace our structural beam the section where it entered the house would have to be opened up. We were told we would not fully know the scope of the job until that hidden area was revealed and that the job would take at least a week. The beam was replaced but the area of house was never opened up. So, no one saw a portion of the beam and it is unclear how the decision was made that it was secure. The job took four days. The workers seemed competent and responsible and said the house did not need to be opened up after all. We never heard from the owner. Because it was winter, probably not the time to do a job like this, the paint dripped after the workers left for the last time. I called about this and also mentioned it to one of the workers who returned to pick up tools. That was a few months ago and no one came back or made plans to fix the issue. Perplexing. Overall, the workers seemed good, but we have to take them at their word as we do not know about the integrity of the beam. The owner was inconsistent and a poor communicator. We will not be back."

The leak was persistent and extremely hard to trace. Tom returned repeatedly until the problem was solved and only charged us for materials: no charge for the additional hours of labor. Comments: Julio and his team did a fantastic job. My roof is 31 squares, Julio and his team were at my house at 7am and went right to work. They wrapped up the job around 6pm. What a great experience for me to have this work done quickly with high quality. The roof looks great. We also had new gutters installed and they make the overall appearance stand out, it looks like we have a brand new home. What was even better, when the crew left, you could not tell they had just installed a roof as you could not find any remnants on the ground of debris from the job. John Hazard was very personable, did not put a hard sales job on us, made sure we understood the process and what they were proposing, the needs for the different pieces and explaining what they might find once the roof was off and where additional costs may be.
