"My husband and I have dealt with Blue Hen Vinyl since 1983. At that time he sided our house. Since then he has installed new windows, new doors and new roof. This year (2018) we had him reside the garage to match the house. Also this year we were in need of a shed and since we are up in years could not construct the foundation ourselves. We turned to Bill to see if he would be willing to construct it for us. We wanted a wood foundation. After investigating what all was involved in completing the task properly he told us he would do it. When the man came to install the shed he was very impressed with how level and solid the foundation was. We have always been satisfied with Bill's work. "I picked Mike (of Shingle Express) over two other smooth talking roof guys. My liked Mike's professor like attitude. The other two guys wanted to replace two sections of shingles (about 100 sq ft each). On the initial assessment, Mike said that my shingles were in good shape. From looking at the wet spot inside the roof, I did not think I have a wide spread problem. I felt that Mike was more likely to trouble shoot the problem and fix it. I went with Mike/Shingle Express. I was right in my gut feel. My leaky roof ended up taking ten trips to fix 5 problems. (Note: Every service trip had a scouting trip to assess the problem and came back to fix it later). Mike was very reasonable to work with. This is the good point. The not-so-good point is that you need to have faith that Mike will show up. He did not always show up when he said he would. But, he did show up a few days later from the original date. With regard to the five leaking spots, I cannot image how would I ended up with the other two guys that I did not choose."

"The experience of having a roof installed on a home that is attached to a neighbor has all the pitfalls that could negatively affect your relationship with your neighbor. As well as affecting the other neighbors because parking is at a premium at this city location. Paddys eliminated those pitfalls by performing in such an efficient manner that the work performed was accomplished in a single day minimizing the pain to our neighbors. As for the quality of the workmanship, Joses crew was as professional as they come. They were polite and responsive to my requests. Also Brian the QC inspector was professional in performing his oversite to ensure me that my neighbors home was as good or better than when the roof work was started. Matt the project manager was quick to respond to whatever I asked of them. These individuals demonstrated Paddys customer-focused culture and professionalism in all aspects of their job, be it workmanship, communication, or customer service. The overall experience was performed flawlessly and met or exceeded my expectations."
