"Eugene is so capable, talented and amazing! He single handedly put all of our furniture out of the way so he can start installing our floor. He removed the toilet to install the floor and FIX OUR TOILET! He then removed our refrigerator, range, and dishwasher ALL BY HIMSELF!! He originally told me he would have my floor done in 5 days but finished in 3 days. Before he left I asked him to give me an estimate for our carpeted area. We will have him install our carpet next. We requested some little things he even went right to Home Depot to help us finish the job. I will highly recommend using Flooring Pro Inc. "Our Maple hardwood floor of 20 years had developed numerous scratches, so we wanted it refinished. It seems to be the smarter option than replacing it. Of the half dozen contractors that came out to do an estimate, only Travis with J&B showed respect, professionalism and desire to do the job well. In this day and age, those are exceedingly rare qualities unfortunately. We have an open floor plan with 20-ft ceilings covering 2 floors. Some contractors told me that there would be so much dust that we would have to hire cleaners to deep clean the entire house. In contract, Travis told me that their process would be about 90% dust-free, and was willing to work with me on further dust control. On the first day, Travis and his crew showed up promptly and covered most of the non-work interior of the house with plastic. They sanded down the floors with equipment that’s attached to vacuum hoses. In the end of the day, the vacuums collected two drums of wood scraps and the plastic covers only collected a thin layer of dust. 3 days and 3 coats of sealants later, we had our floor looking brand new and beautiful. We chose the Bona water-based finish, so the odor wasn’t bad at all. Before applying the final coat, they removed all the plastic and vacuumed the house. I would say in the end, it was more like 95% dust-free. We only had to do a couple of hours of cleaning ourselves after things dried. On and all, we are very happy with the results. This is definitely the best bang-per-buck of all the remodel projects we have been through. Travis and J&B are real pros in this business, and I’d recommend them to anyone in a heart beat."

We had wires/cables coming through the floor before and they directed them neatly through the walls which we wouldn't have thought of...made necessary adjustments in the closet where we had dividers - everything looks great! "Very punctual and did the extra cabinetry at an excellent price and quality. I didn't notice it at first, but the floor finish had minor blemishes such as an occasional hair and small bubble in the finish, so floor quality was a bit disappointing. However, they were a full $1000 less for same job compared with 2 other Angies list bids, and we were only refinishing as part of the sales prep on the house so I took this a fair compromise. After the job was done, the proprietor was going to drop off some extra finish he had mixed for our cabinets so I could touch up a few spots myself later, but despite repeated emails and phone messages, he never returned the communications nor did he ever drop off that finish he had promised - another minor dissapointment

"    IN the beginning we had several companies come in and give us bids and options on getting the cabinets repaired.  Two of the companies voiced that the cabinets were too severely damaged and needed to be completely striped and refinished.  with a cost that was between 4000 and 6000$.  I had heard from a friend about a process called restoration. with that process i was told that aged or damaged cabinets could be brought back to looking new for a fairly inexpensive cost.  Then asked both the businesses if they new anything about restoration both responded with thats not possible and doesn't work.      To say the least I was not convinced.   I then called my friend who told me about the restoration, she gave me a referral card for The Wood Doctor. Right from the start the wooddoctor crew made us feel comfortable about having them in our home. They seemed polite, professional, and trustworthy. I asked them about the restoration process. THey explained the process and told us the cost. In the short of it we preceded with them. THe results were awesome!
