"I used Remodel Or Renew Home Improvement to replace a door I had installed not long ago. I had water coming in and the old contractor was nowhere to be found. "Very high pressure sales. They were more interested in getting it done quickly than the quality of the installation. The aluminum trim around the windows looks good but they did not replace all of the old wood underneath I requested. They would put it over anything. They did not bother to brush off the sills before covering them or remove saw dust. Many of them were cut too small because they assumed all trim was the same size. They had to redo most of them and they didn’t do the bottom corner’s correctly even though I explained to them how they should be done. When they didn’t want to do something they acted like they didn’t understand me."

"I contacted NMTI-GC to help me figure out the best way to replace the old tar roof on my concrete block garage. My garage had a number of challenging design issues: parapets on all four sides, a center drain, and a weird raised section. I was getting eye-popping quotes and contractors who were all over the place with the scope of the project. I reached out to NMTI-GC on a recommendation from a local Facebook group. I contacted Ramon and we met within a week. He was kind, friendly, and professional and really heard my concerns. I had a fair, thorough estimate within a few days that included some creative solutions that no one else had come up with: removing three of the four parapets and avoiding drilling into our concrete roof deck. It took me two months to figure out which contractor I was going with after being blown off by another contractor who had come in with a cheaper way to do the project, but when I reached back out to NMTI it was like no time had passed. They pulled permits and started the work within about two weeks and finished it flawlessly in one day. The crew who did the work was professional, efficient, and friendly and the communication ahead of time was great. I always felt able to reach out to either Ramon or Juan via text if I had any concerns. I wholeheartedly recommend NMTI and as soon as I finish this review I will be sending them an email about additional projects!"

"- Very prompt, professional service delivered at a great price on our Newton expanded bungalow. - Owner, Brian (in business for 25 yrs) assessed/priced job and, with on-site job supervisor, was available at every stage of job completion. - I requested 4 references which Brian gave me at random but said he doesn't call former customers in advance of such requests so wasn't sure if I'd get call backs. All 4 references DID return my calls and all raved about Roofer's Edge/Siding work and value. - Also, work crew included professional women which I appreciated. - Policy is payment at the end of the job when customer is satisfied. - Will definitely use again for siding and or windows given this roofing experience."

"We hired Crystal Painting to repaint the exterior of our 1929 Dutch Colonial. The home hadn’t been repainted in 9 years and had significant peeling and exposed wood and therefore was also in need of some carpentry work. We hired Leo and his crew from Crystal based on reading other reviews on various sites, meeting him in person (many firms just look at your house online and provide a quote or do a quick stop and go without talking to you), and based on his willingness to give us a quote that included both the painting and carpentry work (most other painters were unwilling to quote the carpentry until they were on the job). The pricing quote was a bit higher than other quotes but based on the reviews we read and the quality of the conversations, we decided to take a chance on Leo and Crystal painting and weren’t disappointed. Leo’s crew showed up daily (in varying numbers depending on what needed to be done) over a two week period, did a good job of prepping the house, getting it primed, fixing the carpentry and applying two coats of paint. Some of the carpentry involved replacing rotted moldings along the roof line that likely had been on the house since it was built in 1929, amazingly he was able to find matching pieces to replace the damaged pieces. In addition, there were several color and other changes made along the way and Leo was great at accommodating those at no additional cost. Overall, we were very happy with Leo and Crystal painting and would hire them again. Several of our neighbors who saw their work, have since hired them as well."

"Kyle and crew were good. There were some minor damages from the roofing work which they fixed: 2 window screens replaced and did a paint touch up on my brown gambrel tile that was scraped. Also came back to replace one side of rake flashing on one side of the house and tightened the other side to complete all roofing work. Will C. will come by to complete two other separate tasks this week. Otherwise, all went well. 😊thank you for following up and addressing any issues.
