Additionally, Otto had to color match a section that connected to the previous wood floors, and he did this to perfection. Did a fantastic job, showed up on time and finished when they said they would. I have referred Otto to several clients and they have always thanked me profusely. Can’t recommend highly enough!"

My floors were in pretty rough shape and my tile flooring installer said it was a little beyond his capabilities. He referred me to Sterling and said they were the best around the Kitsap Washington area. I called them and received a quote which I thought was very reasonable for the work that needed to be done. Rick performed wood patching and matching to my existing floors. He then took everything down to bare wood, refinished and varnished the entire floor. The end result was amazing and I was very happy. "The project was to install solid wood flooring in a bedroom Previously we installed wood flooring in our living room. At that time we purchased enough flooring to finish but just shy of enough to finish a second room. When we were ready to install wood flooring in the bedroom we purchased enough additional to finish the job. The installer worked hard to get the flooring installed and even adjust some of the boards manufacturers unsquareness. Overall, the installation was well done. But, the devil is in the details, hence the 3 stars. When we previously did the living room the baseboards, which have to be removed to install wood, that installer reinstalled the baseboards, recaulked, and did touch up painting. Other bidders for this job detailed baseboard restoration was included. This contractor bid said it would be reinstalled. Two pieces are missing and no restoration was done. When we asked about it we were told they nailed it back up and are done. I do not recommend them."

"We had initially tried to use Lowes or HomeDepot as they had special price offers but because the job wasn't "cookie cutter" straight forward they had lots of restrictions and add-ons that made us uncomfortable. We picked Olympia Floor Source from the listing on Angies List and couldn't have been happier. They cam in with a price that was below the box stores and were great to work with and responsive to our needs. The vinyl was laid over an existing floor that wasn't in great shape and needed some patching and leveling. The installer Nathan and his son Noah and friendly and cooperative and the final product looks great. Am looking to use them again for our next carpeting job!"

Modern Flooring Services provided a contractor to provide an initial estimate and a list of supplies needed to purchase. Then they sent a consummate professional and craftsman to install our floor. His name was Patrick, and he started by explaining what we should expect when he removed the carpet, prepared the subfloor, and then installed the wood. He provided different options for how the wood could be angled based on the floor layout. Then he went to work, and we can’t praise his work ethic enough. He is one of the hardest workers I know. He also did a great job of minimizing the dust. If we opt to install new flooring in the future, we will definitely hire Modern Flooring and request Patrick to install the floor."

Adrian suggested tile layouts that I hadn't considered and liked, and handled setbacks in stride, keeping the timeline: demolition was complicated by a hidden layer of vinyl flooring, and the toilet that I wanted to install was damaged during shipment. We used them demo some kitchen cabinets, counters and bedroom carpeting and install new quartz countertops and tile accent wall. Their prices were reasonable and they fit us in quickly.
