"He redid my patio. Good work!"

"Mr. Alonso was very personable and sent the bid within 1/2 hour of his visit to prepare the estimate. The price was midway between the least and most expensive bids. Both my husband and I understood that after Alonso leveled the surface, a base would be laid prior to installing the flagstone pavers. Mr. Alonso said that the earliest they could come was September. In fact, he contacted me in July, saying the crew could come the next day, Saturday, July 18. Great! It was a hot day, but the crew, under foreman Jesse, worked hard and fast, moving the flagstone from the driveway to the shady area in the back of the house. They leveled the surface, placed the stones directly on the surface, shoveled some of the scraped soil between the pavers, and hosed everything down. When I asked the foreman about the base, he said, "No, that's not the way we do it. The flagstones will settle into place." After they left, I checked Alonso's estimate again, and there was no mention of laying a base. The workmen had done a neat job and filled the specified length and width over the bare dirt. My husband transplanted moss from other parts of the yard into the gaps between the attractive flagstones. But within two weeks, five of the flagstones became wobbly, and I worried about safely walking on the stones after dark. When Alonso’s learned of my concerns, Jesse came like a flash and re-laid the wobbly flagstones. Jesse explained that the firm lays a gravel base for areas where no plant life is desired, and that the stones will settle better into the bare dirt with additional rain."

"Sean and Brad are amazing! We had a long list of things we needed done and they completely finished that in a timely manner! They are very hardworking men who always came with a smile and finished with a smile! We are very pleased with their work and have already recommended them to family, friends and neighbors!"

"It was awesome. The owner explained everything very well and he's very personable. The workers came, left, and nothing was damaged. They cleaned up everything after work and the price was great."

"He was very fast and efficient and affordable. Absolutely reccomend,"

"I use Not Just Lawncare LLC in the spring and the fall to do my yard cleanup. They do whatever trimming is necessary of trees, they pick up all the stuff and patch the yard. They pick up thousands of pine cones. "

"They cleaned the gutters on my house (so "gutter repair" is not totally accurate as listed above). They did a great job and were very accommodating when I asked them to show me that the downspouts ran clear when they were done. Very fast and efficient. I will definitely be calling them next Spring! (Home Advisor - please send a text as phone does not accept calls from numbers not listed in contact list. Thanks.)"

"Mat did a wonderful job at laying out the system and installing it according to his design. He was on time and on budget. We had bids from another installer and Mat was right there on price and actually included a few things that were not on the other bid. I would not hesitate to have him do more work for me as he is as honest and sincere as they come. Glenn Griswold"

"Jim came and gave me a direct quote on Wednesday 03/05 and was there on Friday 03/07 to start work.  He told me he would be done in 4 days and he was and the cost was the exact quote.  His attention to detail is incomparable to previous contractors I have hired.  Jim had a carpenter come to put in the new bookshelves, but when I returned home to view the finished shelving I was appalled at the different lengths of trim and lack of quality in the work.  I told Jim about my issues and he took the time to replace the trim himself because he agreed with me.  He didn't like the bookshelf work either!!!  He helped me with bringing in a fireplace repair company to service my dated gas insert and talked to the service guy as I didn't know anything about my insert.  He found a new sash and painted it to my specs.  Jim went above and beyond in terms of service and quality.  I will be hiring him again to replace my fence when I have saved the funds.
