They walk in my house without putting on shoe coverings (we have new carpet) and shoe coverings should just be a given for any service coming into a customer house. The one he sent couldn't figure it out. He was here for MAYBE 10 minutes; he called someone to try and figure it out, ended up going to Menards to purchase a different switch, (that's ok), was gone MAYBE 45 minutes, installe switch and charged $200. Upon my arrival home in the evening, switch did not work. Had to keep another switch on to make the one they installed work. He sent another young man the next day after and he was here MAYBE 10 minutes (and the owner implied he should charge more since they had to come back- REALLY???) I asked if we could some money refunded and was told I could stop by the shop and get 1/2 hour refunded. He can keep is $42.50 to send his employees to school. My opinion total cost should not have been more than $100."

They even suggested a placement change of the panels on the spot to maximize my production. One thing I wish is that I had added a couple more panels to the system beyond what they recommended- just to get that extra going back into the grid. I have seen the cost savings in just one month on my utility bill. More sun would be better but I did record 74% less consumption for Sept. than the previous year! The days are getting shorter, so have to take that into account, I look forward to next year and seeing just how much more it can produce. He also replaced the wiring on the outside electric meter. He then set the appointment for the cityâ s inspector to check the work.
