"I have had Cascade come out to my house for two separate projects. They first came out and replaced my outdated countertops with new beautiful quartz. They did a great job, the main section is one large piece with no seams, all of the countertops fit perfect and have held up great, they also installed a under mount sink and cut a piece of matching stone for my slide out cutting board. The second project I had them out for was to replace the counter on my bathroom vanity. The vanity is fairly large and they also installed a backsplash and a cap on a half wall right next to the vanity. They were professional every time they were out and had great craftsmanship. They always laid down runners is the house and cleaned up after themselves. I am very pleased with my new stone. Thank you!"

"

We are pleased with the finished product.  There was a delay due to manufacturing (cutting machine) problems that needed to be repaired by the machine vendor.  Installation went smoothly.  Recommendations made by the company were useful.  We are glad we chose to go with a quartz surface.

"Agustin and his crew showed up on time, knocked out preparation, clean up and set up for next day in a day. Next day tile on walk in shower was laid out, started, leveled. Walls went up, then floor then shower finished tiled/grouted/sealed all in 4 days. Clean up and follow through were excellent and unlike any other subcontractors. Homeowners and I (Designer) were extremely impressed and pleased. Have contracted Augustine on several other projects since."

"They were reasonably priced, were on time, worked efficiently and quicker than I expected, and cleaned up everything afterwards, making sure there were no nails for my cars, kids, or dogs to find. Great craftsmanship and skill. They also installed a solar light with minimal mess that looks and works well. I would highly recommend them."

FAQs for stone slab countertops installation (granite, marble, quartz, etc) projects in Bellevue, WA

With proper care, granite countertops can last 100 years or more—even in busy kitchens. The stone itself is extremely hard, but its longevity hinges on routine maintenance. Wipe up spills right away to avoid stains and reseal the surface once a year to keep moisture out. Those simple steps protect the finish and let the countertop stay both functional and attractive for decades.

Most granite countertop installations wrap up in a single day. A small vanity might take just a couple of hours, while a sprawling kitchen with multiple cut-outs or seams could stretch to eight hours. Timing depends on the layout’s size and complexity, plus any prep work like cabinet reinforcement or sink cut-outs. Experienced installers plan each step to keep your kitchen downtime to a minimum.

Granite isn’t your only stone choice. Marble delivers a classic, high-end look, while quartz blends natural stone with resins for extra strength and easy upkeep. Quartzite offers marble-like veining with granite-level durability, and soapstone brings a softer, matte finish that develops character over time. Consider how each material lines up with your style, maintenance goals, and budget before you decide.

Granite countertops can boost resale appeal and may recoup up to 25% of their installation cost when you sell. Buyers value their timeless style, durability, and low upkeep, so updated granite surfaces often stand out in listing photos and showings. Beyond potential return on investment (ROI), they refresh the kitchen’s look and signal that the space has been well cared for.

Quartz and granite are both tough, but they excel in different ways. Engineered quartz is non-porous, so it shrugs off spills and resists scratches from daily use, yet direct heat can damage its resins. Granite handles hot pans better but needs yearly sealing because it’s naturally porous. Choose quartz if you want nearly maintenance-free durability, or pick granite for a heat-friendly surface that rewards a little routine care.
