"On the outside of a restored barn, they removed rotten soffit board to replace it. Once they got into the job, they found out it had not been done correctly from the beginning, so it required much more work and involved cutting back the wood underneath. They installed PVC boards, siliconed, painted and put up gutter work. It was more than the original estimate, but they talked to us all the way along. The end product was a gorgeous job.

"I contacted Cully because of his ratings on Angie's List as it is very hard to find a reliable contractor in this small town where we own apartments.
Cully immediately got back to me - we discussed what work needed to be done and he had a very professional proposal emailed to me within 24 hours.  The price was right on target for work performed and we are very satisfied with his work.   Initially, we agreed for him to sheet-rock 2 ceilings but found that he was so knowledgable and handy so we also had him put up paneling.
We did not have him paint the interior as we did that ourselves (he did paint the ceilings when completed).  Come spring time, I will hire him again to do some exterior painting.  He is my first "go-to" now when we need repairs, painting, or sheet-rocking done.  He cleaned up each time he finished working, making it look better than it had before he started.  
Cully was always on time and in communication with me either by phone or email so I knew where the project stood at all times.  He even suggested an electrician and was there to let him in and explain what we wanted done when we had to upgrade our smoke detectors.

"They were fine. Jonathan Mayo is the proprietor. He was prompt and he was polite. He did just what he said he would. I would certainly call him again. He was a very nice person. It went beautifully. He arrived promptly at 9 when he said he would. He climbed right up on the roof. He brought shingles because my roof is too old to get the same shingles. He had some similar ones. It took him about an hour and that was it. He came down and left. I was very very pleased. The only thing was that I was thinking about things to do to make the house look good to sell it in a few years. Being a businessman, he asked me if I had considered aluminum siding because that would spruce up the house. You would expect an exteriors person to say that. Of course I don't want aluminum siding because I have got a nice wood clapboard house. That was the only thing that he suggested and my house doesn't need it. Aside from that, the job was wonderful. His work was wonderful. I would not even take that as a prompt because you would expect somebody to recommend other things that they do. He does a lot of things. His card said roofing, siding, decking, windows, skylight repair, chimneys, and roof shoveling. He pretty much does it all for the exterior of a house. I was very pleased with the price. I had nothing else to compare it with. I didn't even bother asking anybody else."

"Nick and his team did a very thorough and quality job. It looks great, and they made an effort in some large and small ways. They were concerned about damaging the roof of the carport, so they took off the roof, did the work and replaced it (Suntuff). I had heat tape on several parts of the garage to correct occasional ice dams, and Nick came back after the job was done and put them back up. They worked to keep the number of nails in the grass to a minimum, and cleaned up after themselves. If there were any challenges, it was controlling the nail population on the ground. Everybody worked hard (including my wife) to use the magnet to clean them up. We also got hit by a big storm in the middle of the job, cutting power to many places and downing trees on our road. This slowed the work a little. We had a few small leaks during the storm, but nothing bad, as they had put the underlayment down before the storm hit. All of this work was done for a very competitive price that couldn't be beat by two other competitors, and it is not possible to control the weather. My wife and I are happy we found him on Angie's List."

"Excellent as far as I know so far. Got just in on time for major snowfall with new roof so will see if any leaks come through where we had had trouble before. Manny was pleasant and professional to deal with. I liked how he took pictures to show where the areas of concern were and updated me as the day went on and new work had to be done. "AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
