"They were the best contracting service I have ever used. Stephen, the sales rep., came out and gave me a professional presentation which I was very impressed with as I'm a sales coach and I could pretty much tell if someone's not genuine. Stephen is genuine and very professional and gave me a written fair price estimate with all the offerings and prices specifically laid out. I had priced the job out to about 7 other contractors and some gave me estimates on the back of their business card and some other gave me written proposals, but hey didn't follow-up. Stephen followed up with roof colors, possible financing and invited me to visit to see other houses they were working on. I went to see a house about 15 minutes away. Met with a supervisor and watched the guys move like a "well oiled machine". very impressed. I was told everyone was "on the books" and had workers compensation. They called me the night before asked me if they could come the next day as they had a cancellation. They came and took about 3 hours to complete the job like the "well oiled machine" I witnessed before. Every hour, or so, I received a text from the supervisor with pictures of the progress along the way. They finished the job and I walked around and inspected my backyard; no plants or flowers injured, no nails to be seen and all the furniture placed neatly it their place. Stephen called the next day, or so, and checked in and they emailed me an invoice for the amount expected. Did I mention that no deposit was required at the singing of the contract. In my 20 years as a sales consultant, working with home owners and different contractors, I have never been witness to a more professional company. Great job and thank you."

"Myself and my father has used MJA Contracting for two roofs in our houses in Jersey City. Both times Manuel and his team has taken good care of us and installed good roofs. At first I thought the price was a bit high but after I saw the amount of time, material, and workmanship that they completed I thought the price was very fair. Roofs are alot of work as I learned. What I especially liked about Manuel is he did not go cheap and install a torch down rubber roof. He installed a rubber EPDM roof instead. If you have a flat roof, do yourself a favor and install a rubber EPDM membrane and make sure to contact Manuel. He also rebuilt our chimneys very good as well. Excellent masons! I guarantee you will not be disappointed!"

"The installation process went as planned. After the insulation, I expected a follow up to see how things went. After all, that's what happened after they did my window installation. No follow up took place. I gave it a few weeks to see if they would call or come by to see. After waiting I placed a call to address my concerns. The roof installation went fine, but they left debris on the brand new windows they installed along with splashing some black substance on my siding. I guess they expected the rain to wash it all away. They also left large piece of wood in my drive way and nails in my driveway and around my house. I was assured that someone would call me back since the members of the team handling my account was in a meeting. It is now been a week and no call back. That must be a heck of a meeting."

"We chose 5 star for our exterior remodel. Mike was professional and very helpful in helping us choose the type, style, and colors for our siding and doors. The crew that did the work were also professional and very thorough with their work. Everything came out beautifully and installed correctly. No cutting corners with these gentlemen. The price was a little higher than some other contractors, but the quality of material and quality in their workmanship was worth it. One door was delivered with the incorrect glass (distributor issue), but remedied quickly."

"Initially, I was worried about the cost, but after I saw the amount of work and time that they invested into my project - I actually got a bargain. We had to deal with weather issues throughout the project. Nevertheless, the lads from Battlecat Brushworks were there as the weather permitted and did an outstanding job. The heat on most of the days was horrible, and yet they persevered. Complicating the job - our house is sided with cedar (in-tongue groove) and they had to replace over 320 feet of siding.
