He also adjusted a ceiling fan that had been installed by a friend (a mistake -- use a professional!) and it took him only 15 minutes. At first, I hired Rick to do some repair work on the small platform deck at my rental property; he did such a great job that I hired him to repair the platform deck on my primary home as well. I could not be more pleased with the final product at both properties. At our primary home, I initially wanted an extension on our current deck. Rick quoted me a fair price and got to work. Upon pulling up a couple of boards, he noted that our baseboards were severely rotting and decaying quickly (Deck is maybe 12-15 years old) and so he quickly quoted what it would be to tear down and replace , he was able to make it work with his schedule and completed the project in 2 days.
