In April, 2018 he gave us a quote and we accepted it and gave Mr Eggleston 1/2 down expecting the work to be done sometime in the near future. We called him several times to find out when he would be here to do it. It is now October and too late for anything to be done. We asked him for our deposit back nearly 2 weeks ago and we still haven't received it back."

Requests to discuss significant concerns regarding our project went ignored and were only acknowledged after we filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau & IL Atty General due to some of their practices. Be aware of your rights and would strongly advise you to document all encounters and request all details be finalized in written documentation no matter how small it may seem at the time. Lastly, know your rights to request a Sworn Statement (A document that lists the contractors and suppliers that provide material or labor to a construction project. It includes information about who is owed money, how much they are owed, and the remaining balance on their contract.)
