"We reached out to Dan with the issue of freezing pipes and cold rooms in our old house. Dan inspected the house and proposed a plan to remedy these issues. Aside from the more traditional air sealing and insulation solutions, Dan also recommended insulating the area of our house above our soffit, which was difficult to access but that appeared to be a major insulation issue. I should add the other firms we requested quotes for did not identify this area in their proposal. I firmly believe the proposals from the other firms would not have fixed our issues. Dan worked for ~2 weeks on air sealing our attic and house, adding insulation to our attic, removing our soffit and adding insulation and reinstalling soffit. Work was done well and within budget and at a fair price. Dan is very easy to work with and takes pride in his work. We are very happy to report our pipes have not frozen and the cold rooms are no longer cold - would highly recommend Dan to others - he went above and beyond."

"This company did very careful and professional work.  As I said, it's a huge job.  They draped the rooms with plastic sheeting so that we wouldn't have too much plaster dust everywhere (some always escapes, but it was minor).  They patched all the holes that they made. My recollection is that they did the job in 2 - 3 days.  (I'm writing this review several years later).
One issue we ran into, which was not their problem, but you should consider it, is that when they started spraying in the foam, we discovered that we needed tuckpointing done, as the foam started oozing out like toothpaste in a few spots on the outside.

"Amazing job by Anthony, Dave, and crew. I have used them twice now to install sound-proofing insulation between the floors of my home. They do great work. And they also communicate really well. Anthony gave me a quote, Dave walked me through the job (before, during, and after), they have a crew of 4+ guys, everything is fast and efficient. In terms of whether the sound proofing insulation works: you can no longer hear conversations between the floors. To the extent you can hear something now, it's muffled. Before, you could clearly make out what people were saying. All-in-all, I've hired Building Energy Experts twice now, and I highly recommend them."
