"I worked with MC's salesman, Jay, to select the granite and the pricing of the job. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and informative. After the sale, I worked with Vladimir to get my countertops made and installed. Chris arrived on the scheduled day to demolish the old countertops and do the template. He worked diligently to remove the existing countertops and backsplash. He kept the area fairly clean and vacuumed. He took measurements and made templates. He also took my sink with him to the fabrication site so an exact cut could be made since he said sometimes the metal isn't uniform. I went to MC the next afternoon to do the layout. I went into the office but no one was to be found. I went around back to the fabrication area and found Boris who worked with me to do the layout. Boris mentioned that there might need to be a seam in the granite in the area for the sink. This was upsetting because I had been told that a single piece of the slab would be used for that area of my countertop and that no seam would be necessary. Boris said that they would do their best to not have a seam. I also called later and talked with Vladimir about the issue and he basically said what Boris had told me. I told Vladimir that I hadn't used pre-fab because I didn't want a seam. He just said that they would do their best not to have a seam. The day of the installation was set about two weeks after the layout. Three workers arrived about an hour earlier than I'd been told they would-fine with me. They placed drop cloths and began their work. The granite color is beautiful and there was no seam! The work went quickly even with the guys taking a quick break for lunch. Any questions that I had were readily answered."

"I contacted Mark and he responded quickly that he could do the job and be out on Monday, I called Friday afternoon and we were without a sink for the weekend. Two of Mark's crew were exactly on time and did a great job of enlarging the cutout. They were very careful and put down plastic and covered all the cabinets before starting and cleaned up everything when they were done. Highly recommended."

"We were very satisfied with our granite counters from Artistic Stone. Deborah Daniels was very easy to work with, and very knowledgeable. She helped us with many good suggestions. They took a lot of time moving slabs around so that we could see and select the ones we liked best. The demolition was fast, and the two men cleaned up quite well afterward. Demolition and installation was on schedule. <br /> We purchased 61 sq feet of pre-fab counters in River Gold Light. We had one 42" wide counter area that had to be cut to fit into a deep window pocket. Unfortunately, this slab broke in transit to our house. This was our favorite of the 4 slabs we bought, and we were very disappointed. Also, the 42" slab we bought was the only one, so we could not try again with a replacement slab. The installers were able to salvage 75% of it, and we ended up with an extra seam to piece in a new smaller piece (25.5" wide) for the broken part. Artistic Stone was very helpful in finding a slab that would come close to matching what was broken. And the installers came back on a Sunday to complete the job! The moral of the story is: Granite can break. If you buy the last piece of pre-fab granite, and it breaks, you will have to make compromises to get your job done. <br /> But even with this one problem, we would still recommend Artistic Stone. They have a good selection of pre-fab stone. The price was right, the job was done well, and the installers were very polite and accommodating. We are satisfied with our counters and we would hire them again in the future. <br />"

"Overall, the experience was beyond our expectation. We had worked with another installer and he did a horrible job. We ended up calling Ceramic and Stone Design to come and give us an estimate on redoing all the tile work that was done by the previous installer. We completed trusted them due their work we saw in the Porcelanosa showroom and they also came highly recommended by the sales person we bought the tile from. After they gave us the estimate we immediately signed the contract and proceeded the work. Mark and Phil are partners and they are very professional and easy to work with. Phil communicated and worked with us the tile layout before their installers started the work. Phil even came with me to the showroom to pick out the tiles and designed our bathrooms. We ended up going with different tiles, which I would not pick in the first place, but it came out spectacular. Phil has great taste and eyes for design. He even recommended the paint colors to go with the new tiles. <br /> <br /> The quality of work and attention to detail were just unbelievable. His installers took their time cutting and mitering all the trims to ensure it fits nicely, all the corner pieces match up and there are lippages. We are so lucky to have found them, espcially after the bad experience we had with the previously installer."

"First of all, I want to say that this is a family run business run by local, honest, and good people!  We were originally working with Lowes for a quote on countertops, and were getting very frustrated at thier lack of response and overall poor customer service, so we decided to look to Angies List for some other options in our area.  I emailed a few other installers and Monarch was the first to get back to me and the only one that could come close to matching Lowes price.  I was willing to pay more for quality and to support local family owned business.  Jodi and Ken were just awesome!  Even juggling a lot with their business demands and personal lives, they came through with 100% quality and also met our tight timeline.  They were very clear and upfront about pricing, no hidden costs or unexpected add-ons. We love our new countertops and are also really thankful Jodi talked us out of granite for our crazy family-food lifestyles.  Low maintenance is our priority!  But we got the best of both worlds, both low maintenance and absolutely georgeous "granite" quartz look from the Canturbury choice from the Cambria collection.  Ken also even went out of his way to come back to our house in the Santa Cruz Mtns to install a matching windowsill.  It really is a really nice addition!  We would highly reccomend these guys.  Very clean seams, and well thought out design and top-quality installation.  The installation team (which included Ken and his son) was very clean, professional, quick and considerate.  I really appreciate it when the actual owner of a company comes out to do the work and/or supervises it themselves.  What more could one ask for?!  We will definately use them again when it comes time to upgrade our bathroom vanities and shower enclosures.  Thanks Ken and Jodi for a job well done! <br />"
