"Very happy with the results from Wilbur Gonzalez and his crew. His estimate was spot on, he worked with my schedule and did a great job. He plastered, painted and restored a room that had been severely neglected for many years. I would highly recommend him and his team."

"F.A. Home Improvements replaced our old deck planking. They arrived early, stayed later than most contractors, and did an excellent job! We highly recommend F.A. Improvement!"

"Jose and Christian are remarkably talented and hardworking professionals. Our three-story Victorian home is a challenge to paint. Very steep metal roofing, intricate dormers and insets and several very high areas where trim boards required replacement. The crew from Worgem’s Painting was excellent. Great communication and friendly and informative. Matching paint colors perfectly and applying paint in as many coats as required to complete the job. The job came in at the price quoted and the price was significantly better than three other Angi supplied bidders on the job. A+ work all the way around. I would not even bother with other quotes if I need painting in the future - they are that good. Many thanks to Jose and Christian. It was a pleasure to meet you and the work was excellent."

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Bentonville, VA

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
