"After calling a number of contractors for quotes on this project, we decided to go with KFG, as the pictures of Kevin's work looked really good, and he was extremely responsive and professional when I reached out to him to come take a look at the job ad provide a estimate. He came out very quickly and followed up with a quote. He was very helpful in discussing options and providing his input to help decide on some details of the project. It did take a little longer than expected to get started, but the weather is an uncontrollable factor and he was very good about answering questions and providing updates. "Eddie and Simon were extremely responsive, professional, competitively priced and did outstanding work. We're renovating our home and my existing front steps were the original stones from 1923. The mortar was cracked and trapping water against the house causing water damage. Further they simply looked very dated. I called Eddie and Simon who stopped by my house within 24 hours. They reviewed the job, detailed what needed to be done and quoted me a price on site. They even said, "if you don't like the work we do, don't pay me." That was some guarantee! " Initially, we contacted the owner Scott Whitelaw in March 2016. Eventually we agreed on the June start time, in June the project started as planned. We needed to have our concrete and brick front steps repaired and replaced with granite slabs.  The concrete was repaired and slabs replace and the concrete was stained. I was concerned about getting the right kind of stain color for the overall look of the project, and Scott worked very well and very patiently with me to see that we were satisfied. Once I was able to select the brick product the brick walkway was laid exactly to our expectations. We required a curve in the walkway and Scott was able to meet our expectations. We were very satisfied with the overall project."
