Gleyson Olivera from Vellox was the only company rep of all of the other 5 quotes I received who came to my home AND walked me around my house giving recommendations as well as listening to my concerns. The lead time was acceptable, the quotation was competitive and there were no "hidden" extras such as rotten wood add-ons. Also, Vellox was the only company to account for overhangs on my roof and bring the ice and water shield farther up the roof. All of the other companies missed this. I made the decision to go with Vellox and the work was completed in one day. The workers did a fantastic job, the installation looks extremely precise, neat and it's painfully obvious how poorly installed my original roof was. I am beyond pleased. The gutter installs also came out perfect and include guards so I don't have to clean them out again. "The Project was a complete success from start to finish! Elias, the Project Manager was excellent. We had a major problem with a roof that was leaking . We had several contractors come to look at the roof for estimates. Elias spent the most time of any of the contractors viewing and evaluating the roof and siding as well as the inside of the house where the water was leaking into and discussed the project with the President of Beantown. He was excellent at explaining what needed to be done. It was not your average "roof job" as the roof abutted a large chimney and the room under the roof was cold and drafty. He was very patient with me as I had many questions about the project. Janice, the Office Manager, was courteous and always available from start to finish. The roofing team was very professional and did an excellent job. They also added the appropriate insulation, new siding to the house by the roof, gutters and appropriate flashing. The roof not only looks great, but the room beneath the roof is no longer drafty and there are no leaks. His team cleaned up after the project was completed such that you wouldn't even know they were there. Elias was so professional and he even contacted us after the first rainstorm to make sure that everything was fine. The Office Manager, Janice sent the Roof Warranty to me right away. "The B & R team was a pleasure to work with through the whole process, from quote to paying after the job was done. We had heard water dripping onto a ceiling on our second floor during a heavy storm, and called several roofers for quotes. Five different companies came out, two of which wanted to replace the whole roof, and three that said it should just be repaired. During that process, several of the companies mentioned that our chimney needed repointing as well, so we added that to the job. Robert Jr. came out for B & R on a Monday after I had spoken with them on a Friday, and I had detailed quotes in my email that night for the work. They were quick to respond to questions by email, text, and phone. Once I got them the signed contract, they were in touch within the week to get the work scheduled, and had their mason and roofing team on site two weeks after I had gotten them the contract. A day and a half later, I had a beautifully repointed chimney with a cap, rotted wood around the base of the chimney replaced, perfect flashing, and a roof that no longer leaks at all. The team kept me informed throughout the process, letting me know about any issues they encountered and keeping me posted on their timelines. After they were done, they cleaned up the site completely (and even cleaned up the leaves and sticks that were in the driveway from a recent storm). The final price came in just slightly over the original quote because they had to replace more wood than they were originally expecting around the base of the chimney - it took more materials and more time than what was covered under the original estimate, but only cost a little more than the quote. All in all a great process, and I'd highly recommend Robert Jr. and the team at B & R for any roofing or chimney related work that you need."

"LCT did an excellent job. They arrived right on time and had a large number of roofers--7-8 men. They worked quickly and carefully, draping the entire house and making an effort to watch out for plants (though some damage to them is inevitable). James, the salesman, recommended that we install plywood over the entire roof in order to be sure to get all the warranties on our Certainteed shingles. He showed me where they require less than a certain size maximum opening between roofing boards, and also showed me the many places in our attic where there were spaces larger than allowed. That added about $2400 to our quote, but seems like a good investment. They stripped the old roof, installed the plywood carefully over every roofing surface, shingled and cleaned up in one work day. They returned the next day to install a flat rubber roof on our porch, also very well done. While all their work was excellent, we were a bit concerned that many of the laborers traveled in the back of their vans--which had no seats or seatbelts. Nonetheless, the workers reported liking working for this company, and that they were well-treated. Luis, the owner, called us soon after to see if we were happy with the work. Nice work, LCT!"

"Adrian and his crew are excellent and we could not be more pleased. You can see the professionalism and craftsmanship in his workers by the way they work efficiently without rushing. They work very hard and do a good job of cleaning up after the fact. Their attention to detail was noticeable. We would definitely use Fereirra Co, again, and I have recommended him to others. Adrian is very easy to talk to, no pressure, no push to upsell services. He said his quote wouldn't be the very lowest or the highest and he was spot on. I had five estimates from various roofers, ranging from $8k for a barebones two man operation to $23k from the fulltime salesman with a well known large roofing company who tried to sell me on the benefits of custom flashing and offered $2k off if I signed that day. I wanted the siding pulled back on my house to have the flashing and rubber sheeting up the side above the lower roof to avoid issues with ice and leaks in the future. Other roofers wanted to charge me from $1800-3000 for that extra work. Adrian included it in the price of his initial quote - he said he always does that work because it is the right way to do it. His crew moved all the vents and vent pipes on the roof back away from the roof edge to avoid the possibility of future issues with ice dams. They also painted the vent pipes to match the shingles. We needed a number of sheets of plywood replaced due to prior damage in the attic. Adrian quoted me a price to strip and replace an estimated number of sheets. We ended up needing more sheets and a couple rafters replaced due to additional damage not seen before. He only charged me for materials for the additional sheets of plywood as he had promised to do before hand."
