"David and Alfonso were great. On time, a fair price and quality craftsmanship. The work preformed on repairing damaged flooring was seamless. There was a problem with working with old wood and before we could bring it to their attention, they had already noticed it and brought materials to address issue. Totally great work. Just to reiterate, totally professional. Thanks David."

"Steve is a true professional. I dare say he is in the top 2% of his craft. My floors look impeccable. Not only is he good with wood floors but he is also good with Coretec (luxury vinyl). Steve was true to his word and came on time every single time. He was able to finish the entire first floor in 3 days. Steve and his wonderful assistant worked non-stop. These are the most hard-working people I've ever met and I have met thousands of people during my career. If you want ethical professionalism, a perfectionist, and an expert in flooring then you should give Steve a call. Steve does not do any advertising because otherwise he would be booked for up to a year in advance. Definitely hire him for your next flooring job. He is clean, tidy, meticulous, honest and extremely talented. I will only hire Steve for all my flooring needs. His assistant is great too. Very grateful for this amazing team of flooring experts. They completely transformed my home and life. Thank you both!"

"Luis and his team did an amazing job Extremely Professional and out standing work Transformed my home i love my new floors thank you optimum flooring"

"We have agreed to terms to install tile for now."

"

Good - the carpet is great and they did a fantastic job on the installation. It looks wonderful.

The only annoying thing is that they charge extra for everything, including $100 a room to move and replace your furniture. That seemed like a lot. We are seniors and can't move it ourselves, and $100 for both rooms would have seemed more reasonable. But the installers were excellent - they did everything right and cleaned up after themselves nicely.

"price almost twice 2 other floor providers"

"Bob came out, was nice, gave a bid.  Afterwards we had a hard time getting them to schedule, apparently they were overbooked.  Then we got a call, could they come out tomorrow?  Work was done in two days, and is mostly very nice, with the exception of some badly cut and placed T-molding.

The problems came afterwards.  The Angie's List posting clearly says, "No subs," but when I tried to give his workers a check made out to Floors on First, I encountered a certain amount of confusion.  Bob then called and said that he HAD subbed out the job and that he wanted us to make the check out to the workers, although he said we could really make it to him or his business as well,  but he didn't really want that.  It was pretty confusing.

We considered this but as we had hired Bob, not his subs, with the expectation that if something went wrong we could turn to him, and not to subs whose addresses, phone numbers, and license numbers, if any, we did not have, we sent a check made out to Floors on First.  My wife got a rude and aggressive phone call from Bob demanding that we swap out his check. He complained that he doesn't make any profit on these jobs where he doesn't sell the flooring, and now he has to pay taxes on it.

If we wanted to have a job done with no guarantees, we could have used a skilled day laborer instead rather than paying $2300 to someone who presents himself as the service provider and then turns the table on you afterwards for his personal tax reasons.  He is not someone we would choose to do business with again.

"Carpet was removed creating a dust storm in my home. MC outsources the work to an independent contractor from Vallejo (120 miles away). They didn't bring a vacuum or any way to cover my furniture, not was I advised to prepare for dust. I used my own vacuum and lent it to the installer. MC failed to consult me on wall moulding, and the installer left me with a mess. The walls and used moulding had to be completely repainted costing me another $2000. I complained to MC about squeaks in the stairs and missing caulking. They sent the installer back out, and he said he was going to buy some caulking, and I never saw him again. All in all I wish I would have gone with the bid from Lowe's."

"We refinished the floors across 7 rooms and installed new floors in the kitchen and it looks fantastic! Bravo was organized, timely and delivered on great floors. They have done my own house, my sisters and now my moms!"

"Bul and Ivan were great. They know their stuff. Very professional and skilled. I had gotten my cupped red oak hardwood floor repaired. I wish I had taken before and after pictures and that would have spoken for itself. Attention to detail and being informative was their forte. Thank you Ivan and Bul. Will surely work with you guys again."
