I have been in the construction industry for over 10 yrs, I grew up Amish and looking to make some side income and I’m very willing to do whatever I can to satisfy anybody’s needs whether it is doing the repair or job that is needed or referring you to somebody that will do an exceptional job. "The project required removing a very large jet tub in the bathroom, reworking the ductwork and electrical systems as well as wall and ceiling construction, painting, finishing work on trim, installation of lights and all new bathroom fixtures. The entire process went smoothly, on time, and on budget. There was some additional work needed due to unforeseen issues with the original construction of the house. They were very clear about what needed to be done and why, and potential solutions were discussed and the cost ramifications so that we had a choice in how to proceed. The company is very professional in the way they handle estimates and ongoing information. Supervisors were on site every day, watching over the work and checking on our satisfaction with how the project was going. The people who did the work were punctual every day, courteous and pleasant to have in our home, very knowledgable, and did top-of-the-line work. A lot of care was given to making sure that the construction (especially the dust) was managed well and every evening during the project, the house was organized so that we had uncluttered living spaces, and when the project was completed, all the debris was cleaned up and removed. We couldn't be happier with the result of the experience of working with them. Highly recommended!"

"We called Machen for an estimate to tear off our old roof on our house and detached garage. They were very responsive and Jodi even came out on a Saturday to give us an estimate. He was very knowledgeable regarding the materials and products we needed, and we were impressed that he actually climbed the roof to take all of the measurements, where other contractors we had contacted did not. The estimate we received was fair considering that the roof deck would need wrapped and the amount of ice guard we needed. Jodi and his team were on time every day and got right to work. They took their time on the job and were very conscientious about the work performed to ensure it was done correctly. Jodi takes a lot of pride in ensuring the job site remains neat and takes a lot of care to ensure they thoroughly clean up before leaving for the day. We ran into heavy rain halfway through the project and Jodi even came out on the weekend to ensure that the roof was water tight before the rain hit. The new roof looks great and we are very pleased with the end result!"

"Initiall call returned in one day  and service was completed as promised.  crew of carpenters was excellent and fun to have working... certainly saved us  from a lot of labor that we were not quite willing to do ourselves.

UPDATE-6/6/15:

We used this company in the past for a roofing job that has since gone wrong, without appropriate follow-up or resolution from Bazell Maintenance & Remodeling. The door portion of the job in this review was originally very good, but as of now, you can hardly get the door open without yanking the knob off. I have yet to receive any resolution on this issue, either."
