"Rafael replaced my gross old linoleum floor with subfloor and LVP, replaced the toilet and vanity, and finished the floor work with a quarter-round trim. The finishing work was well done; the floor was in bad shape and he fixed it and made it look amazing. If I had more $$ I would have had him redo the entire bathroom. Rafael arrived early, worked the whole day, and consulted me on every step of progress made. Rafael was always professional, polite, respectful, and well-tempered. I have had workers who have come in with foul language, loud music, and on their phones the whole time. Rafael is a rarity - he and his co-worker completely respect the client's home. "I sent a quote request to Jose the other day to replace my chimney cap which had blown off earlier in the week. About an hour later I got a phone call and that evening he came by to assess the job and provide me a quote. The next morning at 8am, he was on my roof getting the job done. For the gutters, he removed my gutter guards, cleaned out everything thoroughly, and sent me pictures showing me his work. I will absolutely call Jose again in the future for similar jobs. I've already recommended him to a few people for gutter cleaning services, hopefully they will be calling him soon."

"I needed my gutters cleaned. They were horrible and had their own plants growing inside. I contacted two services from Angie's List and Dirk was the only one who got back to me. Excellent communication and not only did he say he could do my gutters (some of which are over 25 feet from the ground), but also said he could power wash my home (something else that needed to be done). Came by the house while I was at work and sized up the job. Estimate over the phone sounded reasonable.
Showed up exactly when he said he would. Very interesting guy; "intense," professional, and very detail oriented. I came home after he had just finished the gutters and was shocked because there was not a drop of dirt of filth anywhere to be seen. Started the power washing that day and worked till dark. He advised me of all the problems he noted while up high on my house and quoted me a fair price to fix them, e.g., loose gutter straps, trim nails that were popped, etc. He even bought and replaced the dryer vent after noticing it was rotted -- did not charge a dime extra for that.
Very happy with the quality of the work. I'm a perfectionist and I could not have asked for a better job.

"A&A Painting and Carpentry is run by Roland and his team of workers. The work was very professional and high quality. Taking the old stain off along with cleaning mildew the siding took a few days of effort, but the team was able to create an generally even appearance down to the original cedar shingle color. New stain looks great and we are expecting to get 10-12 years of protection from it. Trim paint looks perfect - all windows, deck railing, roofing under exterior porch. Rolando and his team re-stained our large mahogany front door - which looks much better than before. He even did this at no extra cost. Carpentry work was very professional and Rolando's team did this at a fraction of the cost I was quoted from others. The price from A&A was very competitive. I had 4 quotes, 1 was 80% higher, 1 was 40% higher and the other was the same (Rolando brother). I went with A&A as Roland is very responsive and he would get me on the schedule quickly and get the work done before mid-October. When looking at cost of the work, I looked at the size of the project (large) the value A&A provided was the best I could find. Siding stain looks great - natural cedar color is darker than original siding stain and we like this color a lot. All trim work looks perfect - it's great to have the nice satin white trim on the whole house looking so bright. A&A Workers were friendly and cleaned up each day. They were at our house for nearly 2 weeks and showed up every day about 9 am and worked through to 5-6 pm."
