"They made precise measurements that fit perfectly. They went over and beyond their duty when it was discovered that when the framer built the wall for the bar top at the framing stage months prior and they didn't level it. Guess they assumed concrete floors were perfectly level. They stayed and even came back to work with contractor to level the wall which BTW was lined with stone that goes on the outside of houses with brick. So leveling wasn't just sanding a lil wood off a corner. The installer could've installed and left cuz it wasn't his fault it wasn't level but he saw the job through to ensure it was supported adequately with the needed amount of support and installed correctly. The only hiccup was I was told one day that they had to cut the sink in so it couldn't be installed that day but would the next. Upon calling the next afternoon to tell them that I was off work and they could come to install at anytime, I was told they couldn't because they hadn't cut the sink in. It frustrated me at the time because it is really hard for me to get off work at a descent time working at a level 1 trauma hospital, but once it was completed, I had forgotten all about that. Only other negative is that you could never get them to answer the phone, return messages, etc., but they were changing things around then so I'm sure that has been resolved, just had to go by to talk to them a couple times when It could've just been a phone call. In the big picture, very minor considering such a great job well done! Their great work ethic made up for a small slip up. Plus I'm sure they were swamped with orders as well. I shopped around and they price granite differently. Not by grade so I got a high grade granite cheap since they had plenty of it. Will definitely buy from them again! Very happy customer! Everyone comments on my kitchen/granite! <br />"

"Soraya the owner of the Fashion Kitchens and her team are simply AMAZING! We got a wild hair to redo our entire kitchen but had no clue what we were getting ourselves into. We took everything out, down to the plywood floors in our kitchen and started piecing it back together one new cabinet at a time. This was our first time ever doing something like this so we gave ourselves about 2 weeks from start to finish, little did we know it usually takes two weeks just to get someone out to measure you for counter tops!! We started calling around to different counter top places and they were all 4-6 plus weeks from start to finish, which was totally not doable for us, as we were tired of eating out and having an unfinished kitchen. And also the quotes we got based on our square footage were outrageous, which almost forced us to settle with laminate counter tops instead. Then we found Fashion Kitchens (thank god) Soraya was great! We spoke to her on the phone and the NEXT DAY she met up with us at TWO different granite warehouses to walk us through our first time looking at granite. She did this another day as well when we were ready to make our decision. The same day we made our decision on our granite, she was at our house taking measurements. 4 days later they arrived at our house to install our counter top!! It couldn't have turned out better our kitchen is so elegant and beautiful!! Oh and i forgot to mention that she was 40% CHEAPER than the other 3 places that quoted us. She was a gift from God for us and I would absolutely recommend her to anyone in need and would love to have her come back if we needed more granite work done. <br />"

From there, he was able to show me a range of options for cabinets and countertops at different prices, and let me know exactly what I was getting and the bottom line. "This is my 2nd time using McDonald Marble and Stone for a remodel/new construction project and they are just easier to work with than Mees and Kentuckiana Countertops. Their prices are equivalent or better than Mees and KI. They do have a 10-14 day lead time after templating - if they could bring this down to and lt;5 days that would be ideal. I did not have to send back any pieces for the entire project so the templater did an excellent job. All the work turned out beautiful! They were able to acquire a wide range of quartz products from various manufacturers in a timely fashion for my project. Their remnant selection is good as well. Lastly, I appreciated that the installers actually care about not damaging cabinetry and walls. <br />"
