"I first met Tony, owner of Nexxus Remodeling, soon after his lead hardwood flooring installer had come to check out my home so they could send me an estimate. My project was to rip out all carpet in my upstairs, and on the stairs from the 1st floor. Even before I had received all bids I’d sought from him and other contractors, Tony found out the floor I’d intended to buy was out of stock. He arranged for me to go to a showroom that has the best inventory and selection I’d seen in my search, and he met me there to personally assist me to find flooring I liked just as well as my first choice. I was soon able to determine that Tony’s bid was very comprehensive and reasonable, but his efforts to help me before even being hired had impressed me just as much. "Leonid came over on monday and charged me only $45.00 to remove metal that was causing strange noise from dryer.
When we later attempted to use dryer following day, motor would not turn over when power was on. He could not come that afternoon, but came over as promised the next morning and found my wife's anklet stuck in motor compartment. 
Leonid is courteous, friendly, straight-to-the-point, and has tried to keep the cost minimal as he did when was able to partially repair our dishwasher even though we need a new one.

"Larry is the consummate pro. He's like the Holmes on Holmes of appliance repair. My most recent job (I have used him for 3 years) is the first time he was stumped by one of my appliances. The first solution he thought would work didn't, but then he was at the ready, ordering the correct parts as quickly as possible (My oven is older and harder to get parts for on the fly) and even offering to cover the costs of the first round of parts since they weren't the correct solution. He got it fixed in time for Holiday Entertaining and did it with a smile and a "Merry Christmas".
This is the guy you want coming to your home and fixing what's wrong. He won't make you fix something that isn't broken, he will tell you if it makes more sense to buy something new instead of profiting from fixing your clunker, and if it takes a little longer or comes at an unusual time, he doesn't jack up his prices.
