"We recently experienced an amazing, satisfying week with Caron Roofing and Construction. Several leaks in our roof appeared during a month of sometimes heavy rain. I called Justin Caron to come take a look at possible repairs. He came the following day. He recommended total roof replacement, including a rubber membrane covering the nearly flat roof over the two-car garage. Our home was built in 1905 and last re-roofed thirty or forty years ago. It needed replacement, and Justin’s estimate of price was reasonable. Justin made a formal written proposal the next day, and, after discussion, agreement on the work was reached. Necessary materials arrived the following morning, with the roofing work scheduled for the day after. Bang! A little after seven in the morning of the fourth day after my initial call, the work crew arrived, along with every imaginable piece of equipment and tool needed. Netting was placed to protect plants and flowers. Two dumpsters were deployed to collect trash. The 12 person crew worked as a coordinated team, purposely, professionally, and proficiently. By afternoon’s end, the roofing was done. The crew gathered up their equipment, finished removal of all the old roofing, and tidied up the yard. They restored everything to the “as before” condition, except now we had a wonderful new roof. Four days from first call to completed job. Well done!"

"They were excellent. They showed up on time, performed the work courteously, efficiently, and professionally. Not only did they strip the roof, they also replaced the plywood before re-shingling. They flashed where necessary and installed the drip edge. Most surprising to me was the quality of the cleanup. I am yet to find a single nail left behind despite the snow we had on the ground. "Freeman and Son Construction LLC started off well. Brad came to do an estimate quickly in the fall, and his crew arrived on time and worked hard. The roof got replaced and does not leak. The main problem is that the drip edge they used does not work right, meaning that it does not shunt rain into the gutter, so every rain storm soaks the soffit and will cause rot until it gets repaired. (A contractor I had look at this said that the type of drip edge was the wrong one.) The second problem was that after stripping and installing, the gutters and ground had a lot of nails, cigarette butts and plastic trash from the job. Roofing is a messy job, but in my opinion this was more than other roof jobs I have done/hired out. In June after the install I called Brad, but it took 3 months and 3 phone calls for Brad to look at the problems. After a while, his crew did make an effort to clean the gutters/trash up but by then I had done most of it. It has been almost a year and Brad has not stepped up to fix the drip edge problem, although he said he would. For the price I paid for the roof, this problem should have been fixed by now."
