"I called a couple companies about my Dyna Flame 3000G fireplace that was not working. After talking with one company that told me Dyna Flame was out of business, and replacement parts could not be found, I was discouraged. I decided to call around some more for other opinions. One other company did not get back to me. Gary called me back, and we scheduled an appointment. He came out, checked a number of things, and finally zeroed in on the high temperature device. He was able to find a replacement in his truck, and now I have a working fireplace. <br /> Given the estimate of $3000-$6000 dollars to replace my fireplace from the other company, I was quite happy to pay Gary the $200 for the service call and part. Thanks Gary! <br />"

"The installation of our new ceiling lights was done efficiently and meticulously. They installed them on the weekend and were so thorough, we didn't even know they had been there, except our office is bright again! We will definitely hire them again for our future projects."

"The guy did a fine job. We had just brought a new washer and dryer, and someone told us that it was a good idea to clean the dryer vent before we put in the new dryer. He came out when he said, he took about the right time and everything. He took 30/35 minutes to do it. He seem like a nice guy. I would say to drop the price. I think that was a fair price for coming out here."

"We were very lucky to have Adam on the job. Due to our ignorance about the home improvement world, we may not really appreciate or understand how fortunate we were to work with him. From beginning to end, he provided unwavering and dedicated support of the project. His character came through with great clarity from day 1.  Going into any home improvement project can be very daunting and to say we were intimidated is an understatement.  The anxiety eased as we came to recognize that Adam is someone we can trust.  He has impeccable attention to detail (sometimes keeping him up at night unfortunately), and above all else, he's very conscientious and thoughtful.  I'd say the majority of the considerations and decisions made were based off of Adam's thoughtfulness in anticipation of our needs - especially regarding our two young boys. Also, he really made a great effort to make the process as easy as possible on our family once the work started.  For example, he was always on time and always available for questions and really went above and beyond to keep the work he was performing neat and tidy (essentially keeping it sealed off from the rest of our house). Our son has been dealing with asthma and the dust generated during the remodel process was nearly undetectable due to his extreme and appreciated efforts. The integrity and quality of Adam's work is extremely high. In addition, his team of subcontractors (e.g. painters, demolition, etc.) matched his high quality of work. I'm sure there were many opportunities where he could have taken an easier route or decided to do just enough to get the job done. However, I never felt like he ever compromised the integrity of his work down to the smallest of details. If anything, I felt like he was constantly trying to exceed his own personal standards on a consistent basis. My wife and I would not hesitate for a second to recommend Adam. <br />"

"I have had a lot of time go by without replacing my doors. I've brushed it off for a while, but when they came to my home i realized its time. I made an appointment and just like that i was already going to replace the two doors i had in mind. Adi was a great salesman too he made sure the work was done right. it took a while but they were okay with my hectic schedule and sure made it simple for me."

"I was told by the person who answered the phone that the minimum service charge was $95 to come out to my home and diagnose the problem. I asked if they could replace the thermocoupler when they arrived and was told they do not carry parts on their truck so another service call at $95 would also be required plus parts. The Thermocoupler is a standard item on a gas fireplace and typically sells for $10-$20 online or at Home Depot. It seems ridiculous that a specialized fireplace repair company would not carry this kind of part on their truck. It would have cost me a minimal of $190 before parts to have this repair done by Quality Fireplace. I choose not to have the service completed and fixed the issue by myself."

"I am so happy that I chose Avalin as our contractor. I got direct communication with the owner and his small but efficient team. They were always extremely courteous, friendly and professional, and were very approachable and pleasant in answering all my questions along the way. They helped me understand every part of the complex EBB process, handled payment from EBB directly, and took the initiative to upload the correct forms and documentation to the program for me, as well as scheduling official reviews. The cost for the work was extremely fair. From the beginning, before signing the first work contract, I was guaranteed that I would not pay a cent above the estimate, and they were true to their word. The work itself was fast, professional and no-nonsense, and completely COVID-safe and contact-free, the workers never even had to come inside the house. I feel safer and more prepared now, thanks to Fred and his team at Avalin. I am so thankful to them for for helping me get there in such a painless and efficient way. Thank you!"
