"Integrated Paver Systems is the third contractor we have hired through HomeAdvisor (the other projects were for a complete window replacement [12 windows+3 glass sliders] and pool replastering) and each time the contractor has --hit a grand-slam--. Our project was for a backyard patio + circular walkway (22-ft diameter, 36 inch wide) around an existing gazebo + outdoor kitchen area per customersdesign specification. The work consisted of dirt excavation, laying down/compacting an asphalt-sand mixture, sand screed and installation of Belgard Catalina Grana, Victorian, interlocking pavers inside border pavers set in concrete. Mark Lacher, the owner, was fantastic and very easy to work with. He knew exactly what we wanted, but then pointed out things we needed and his estimate was well-within the expected cost. We were very satisfied with his knowledge and expertise. The overall paver design called for lots of cuts around the circular walkway and curves around the patio area. Victors crew did an outstanding job in performing the work, but also had recommendations to improve the design and make the final result even more aesthetically pleasing. Kudos especially to Luis for his inputs in improving on the design by adding the graceful curves of the walkways connecting the patio area with the circular walkway area. The entire construction crew was highly qualified: the workmen, or more accurately craftsmen, were not only very respectful and open to our suggestions and requests without complaint, but they were also knowledgeable, well-trained, highly efficient and skilled. We are very happy customers and extremely pleased with the quality and workmanship of the paver installation. Integrated Paver Systems exceeded our expectations, and we would hire them again in a heart-beat. We will be enthusiastically recommending Integrated Paver Systems to all our family and friends. Thank you all for a job well-done!"

"Finally an honest Solar company!! I went through several companies trying to get quotes for one of my properties, either they were ridiculously expensive or they didn't return my calls. A friend of mine referred me to Mega Sun and I have to say I am very pleased. Within a couple days from the initial phone call I already had an estimate and once i decided to go with them the installation was completed in one week. Its been a little over a month since they completed the install and everything is working smoothly.

I was amazed at just how great the customer service was. I just want to say thank you to the whole team who helped out, I really appreciate all your hard work. Now I know you guys are the ones to call for all future jobs."

"I felt the firm attempted to charge me more for repairs that I did not need. After the Angie's list promo work was done, I did not get any pictures or confirmation of what was actually done. I made many attempts to contact the company."

"Goodfellas took care of us when we needed it! We had a pipe burst between floors in our multi-level house this summer, ruining our downstairs kitchen, and effecting some cabinetry in our upstairs kitchen. Once we got that clean-up out of the way and got the insurance claim started, we started shopping around for contractors that could help us out. We had three different estimates, but Goodfellas was the least expensive while still meeting all our needs. Our project manager Danny really set up a plan that would fix the damage, while also giving our upstairs kitchen a much needed facelift. His crew foreman Nir, and his crew—especially Arnold—was very helpful and efficient. It was easy to communicate with Nir via phone and text, and I would say I spoke to Danny via email at least a few times a week. Danny was really helpful in matching our new cabinets to the paint choice I had made for the remaining cabinets. They both made sure we were happy with each step and installment, or they fixed it until we were. We even ran into some insurance trouble midway through, putting a halt on our funds for the project. After explaining the whole nightmare to Danny, he was patient and waited with us until Nationwide could pull it together to help us finish this project. And once the final money was approved, Danny’s crew was quick to finish up the kitchen so that we could return once again to our normal lives. In short, they met our demands easily and did the project quickly and proficiently. Whenever there was a confusion or problem, it was easily communicated and handled. The crews were friendly and respectful of my family and house. Arnold went out of his way to make sure my kitchen upstairs was exactly how I wanted it, even down to giving me choice of threshold trim when he could have just slapped down any ol’ trim and I probably wouldn’t have noticed. And he always had a quick smile for my children. I would recommend this company to anyone needing work done in their home."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Big Bear Lake, CA

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
