"The person performing the service had to make several trips because one of the "new" parts turned out to be faulty. I found both Complete Protection and their local repair contractor to be both very responsive and totally professional at every stage of the repair process."

"Had an awesome experience with these guys. We had to do both radon mitigation and sump pump installation. I called 5-10 different places to get quotes, they were the most affordable by a decent margin. Kratos was really great- he was on time, very friendly, wasn't annoyed by our dogs constantly being at his side, etc. He finished the job very quickly and gave great education on how the system works and what we should be looking for to ensure it's functioning well. Additionally, he randomly fixed an electrical issue we were having with some outlets! Totally not his job, but I asked him if he knew a good electrician and by doing some basic trouble-shooting he was able to fix it and save us the cost of having an electrician come by! Highly recommend these guys, no reservations whatsoever"

"The report was very professional and detailed. The response was fast. The price was expensive but due to the detail, understandable. I wouldn't hire again due to multiple requests for a completed report and estimate for the mold remediation and just getting robotic replies that didn't answer my questions."

"Piazza Plumbing is outstanding! Frankie is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to plumbing, and then some! Always professional and more than willing to check out whatever you need and give a quote or professional advice. He’s worked in this industry for many years and can assist in all your plumbing needs! I have been more than pleased with my two new sump pumps in my basement. Haven’t had a water issue since, plus they’re to code and connect to external drains to the perimeter of my property! He’s even helped me troubleshoot my showers to increase water pressure and helped fix the handle on my toilet. Job large or small, he can literally do it all. Fair pricing for the exceptional quality work. I just can’t say enough about this service, you won’t be disappointed!"

"In March of 2013 we had decided to add central AC to our home.  This required us to replace our 38 year old furnace, which we replaced with a Energi Air Systems (Goodman) GMVC 950905CXAC stage furnace from ProTech Mechanical (Billings MT).  We only had a couple of days after the installation that we even needed to use the furnace.  During that time my wife had complained that the new furnace didn't seem to warm up the house very well.  Most of the time the furnace would work fine, but occasionally it seemed that it just wouldn?t heat the house. <br /> We had a service call then, with immediate response from ProTech to look at our furnace.  The problem seemed to be that when the furnace needed to go into high fire (second stage) it wouldn?t light.  That would cause and error and put the furnace into lockout until it was reset.  This can be done by turning off power to the furnace, or by the user from the thermostat by switching it off of heat and back on.  The ProTech technician reset it, tested, and it seemed to be working fine.  This took us all through summer, with Central AC working great. <br /> Once the weather had turned cold and we had switch back over to the furnace, we immediately started having problems.  The furnace would intermittently go into lockout, so the heat in the house seemed random, so and another service call to ProTech, this one not quite as quick. <br /> This seemed to be more of an issue with the ProTech dispatcher than the technician.  I?d called in and was put on hold and being transferred over to the dispatcher, when the receptionist would come back on the line to tell me that the dispatcher had stepped out and would call me back.  The dispatcher <strong>never </strong>called back, and I mean <strong>ever</strong>, I had to call back repeatedly.  This was the exact same scenario for all my subsequent service calls. <br /> Fortunately a technician always came the same day.  We had about 5 service calls from ProTech on this over about a 30 day period, and several parts, leading up to the November 11, 2013 one that fixed the actual problem.  The problem turned out to be a pneumatic control line that was mis-routed, either during installation or manufacture. <br /> It is now March 31, 2014, almost 5 months since and no more problems and happy that it is working great. <br /> I had some difficulty with the ratings.  I am very happy with the equipment; and most it is the most "Bang for the buck" compared to all the others I looked at.  I thought the technicians that did my service were great.  Talk through everything they did, including the problems associated with a seemingly random issue.  The only issue I have is when I get the same story about the dispatcher, and no call back.  This cost them the 'A' and almost made me rate them as a 'C', but the rest of my service brought me back around. <br />"

"Very nice man. Seemed to be meticulous. My Agent commented that there was Home Inspector who was quite a bit better, but that he was new and was trying to impress people of how good he was! What do I know? I know this; always get your new potential home inspected. There will always be something the professionals find that you would have never seen yourself. Even a new house! Your buying a new home for Christ's sake! And, it's peace of mind."

FAQs for sump pump repair or replace projects in Big-arm, MT

Sump pumps last about 10 years with proper maintenance and prompt repairs. Several factors can influence your sump pump’s lifespan, such as usage, environmental conditions, and installation. Premium sump pumps with heavy-duty motors and quality components tend to last longer than lower-cost models. Pedestal sump pumps usually last longer than submersible models since they’re not constantly exposed to water.

A basement French drain is a drainage system installed in basements or around a building’s foundation to redirect water and prevent flooding. This system features a trench with a perforated pipe that catches and transports water away. These systems can crack, freeze, or clog, potentially resulting in flooding or strain on your sump pump.

You can use a sump pump in your yard to minimize pooling water and landscape damage, but it’s best used in conjunction with other drainage systems. This can include French drains, trench drains, underground downspouts, and other equipment. Proper lawn care, such as soil aeration and native plants, also aids with drainage.
