BUT the problem continued after they finished. They came back in the afternoon and rechecked everything. Turns out that one of the coils in the heating unit was touching a metal bracket and was actually causing the problem. They replaced that, and dropped the price 80 bucks because the parts weren't as expensive. Tested and works like a charm. Did some great troubleshooting, found the problem, and handled it.
