"I had some broken, cracking stucco that I needed checked for underlying damage and patched in a relatively short period of time pursuant to refinancing my home.  I had contacted two other stucco contractors off of Angie's list to get bids and neither one was very responsive.  Ted Cowan from ACES/GSS was very responsive.  He came out the day we got a hold of him and gave me a bid on the spot.  He also walked me carefully through what potential issues there might be and how he would go about fixing them so there would be no further damage.   <br> <br>He said he could be back within three to four days but came back the very next day to test for underlying problems, of which there weren't any, and to take out the broken stucco and put on the cement layer.  He came back a week later and finished the job.  It looks perfect. The color matches exactly.  I finally did get a bid from one of the other contractors and Ted's bid was half the cost.  I watched the repair and Ted's men did a great job.  The went to extra lengths to make sure that the patch carefully overlapped with the existing water barrier so I wouldn't have to repair this again any time soon. <br> <br>I am so pleased that I am asking Ted for a bid to do stucco when I have most of the windows in my house replaced.  Based on my experience so far I'd recommend him to anyone."

"In a recent high-wind storm, the aluminum fascia siding toward the roof line on my second story broke and blew off. The Gray Huskie team contacted me via text message. I was able to send a picture, and they gave me a pricing estimate. I also asked them to price gutter covers, and all of this was done via text message. Then, they offered to come out and measure my gutters and give me a final bid. Overall, the team was incredibly professional. They scheduled me quickly. They showed up on time, and the job was finished within the time estimate for completion (2-2.5 hours). I was happy with the work quality, and appreciated the quick responses. "Dan from Expert Plumbing called me about 10:15 AM on the day of the new shower installation to get some additional information on what I needed done, and then again when he was about 10 minutes out. When he arrived, just shortly after 11 AM, he went over Expert's pricing (i.e., cost of the service call, hourly rate and minimum,etc.) and after looking very briefly at the plumbing, had me sign an invoice assuming two hours of labor (the worst case scenario in his mind). However, he explained that if he completed the work in an hour or less he would write up another invoice for one hour minimum labor charge. Dan then looked at the now exposed plumbing behind the bathtub. He saw no evidence of any leakage along the bathtub piping or on the floor during a careful inspection. However, he was unable to pressure test the piping and soldered connections because the water had been turned off and the shower-install contractor had already cut the copper piping to the now-demolished shower. He then focused on the corroded (due to hard water) nipple. It took some effort but with the correct internal pipe wrench he was able to remove it. I had purchased four nipples of differing lengths in anticipation of replacing the corroded nipple. Dan installed one of the new nipples so that a new tub spout with a threaded connection can be installed. Overall, the labor he performed took around 45 minutes, with most of that time expended on removal and replacement of the recalcitrant corroded nipple. In summary, Dan was courteous, personable, and professional. Before leaving he modified the invoice to one hour of labor, as he had discussed upon arrival. I would use Expert Plumbing, Heating, Air, and Electrical again if needed."

"I received a couple of recommendations for Dr. Patch, but you never know until some one comes and does the work. I had high expectations and these guys exceeded them! Not only did the work look great, but their costs were very fair, they left everything clean and orderly and the were flexible in dealing with unforeseen issues. On one repair we found water damage underneath the stucco and they did a great job pulling out all the bad wood and rebuilding everything ... really went above and beyond. I would enthusiastically recommend Dr. Patch to anyone looking for fare priced, quality stucco repair!"
