"What a great experience! I was contacted right away and we met the next day for Chris to give us an estimate. I had the estimate that night and work started the next week as promised. Besides installing a fence, the old chain link fence had to be removed, as well as a whole line of trees. The trees and fence were removed and a beautiful privacy fence was put up. It was a lot of work but once they started they worked until it was done in only 2 1/2 days. When they were finished you wouldn't know they were there. What great work! We now have to hire someone else to replace the gates, which we told them they were bowed and needed repair. This was only 2-3 weeks after installation. He always promised to come, but no show. "Nosh is a true craftsman and an outstanding professional.  He provided a clear quote and stuck to it despite some unforeseen additional expenses.  His craftsmanship and professionalism is second to none.  He and his crew arrived each morning, worked hard, and cleaned up every day.  When more of the old stone was damaged than expected, he made MANY calls around to warehouses and was able to find an exact match to our 9 year old stone!!!  It's not just a match, even...it's the same stone.  It had be sitting in the warehouse for 9 years.  He bought what he needed for the job, advised us to get more for future repairs, and delivered it to our home.  I think we bought everything the warehouse had.  We'll never be able to find that stone again (as many masons have told us previously), but now we won't need to.  Most other contractors just don't put forth that extra effort to do the job right and make the customer happy.
When discussing other potential projects and details, he is very cost conscious while still having an eye on aesthetics.  He even came back after his work was complete to meet with carpenters to provide guidance on working around the remaining poorly installed stone.  We some of the caulking around the base of our backsplash had tiny holes after drying, he came back and fixed them.  We will definitely have Nosh back to repair more of the stone and do other masonry and tiling work.
Nosh has a bit of an accent, but it's really nothing...just a little extra patience when communicating over the phone.  With his skills and experience, this is the expert you want to do your masonry work!  Finding a true and honest craftsman like Nosh is 1 in 10,000 at least.

"MHI repainted my house in the fall of 2016. They initially did a sloppy job while going 40% over the initial estimate. But in October 2019 they came back out to fix some problems with the earlier work and to perform some additional work at a very reasonable cost. The crew that originally painted my house is no longer with the company. Bill's crew performed the work this year, and did a much better job. Bill will have a prominent role in MHI going forward, so I am confident they will be a very different company than the one I dealt with in 2016. I'll likely have Bill's crew repaint the interior of my house when this is done in a month or so. While I gave the 2016 MHI poor grades, Bill earned all A's."
