"We are very happy with our new (9/8/23) Fortress Floor. From the inquiry, the quoting process, scheduling, and installation the Fortress Floors Midwest team was outstanding. Each step was well managed by professional people and we got great results. Our job was a fairly simple two car garage that we actually use to park cars. The original concrete was pitted, the aggregate was coming up, and the concrete dust was overwhelming. The new floor fixed all of that and we can do simple new things like adding a fridge or a freezer and even walking barefoot in the garage again! We no longer track dust and pebbles into the house and we already see the difference inside. Probably most impressive was the teamwork across sales, scheduling, and installation. The small group we worked with: Amy, Michelle, and Jarrod and his team of two were fantastic. It is probably a small business thing, but they do seem to be organized to get projects done. Amy even brought donuts for the installation team on the morning of our job! It says that they work well together and they certainly get great results. We would recommend Fortress Floors Midwest to anyone with a coating job of any kind. We already have twice this week!"

"I had nature stone come to my home for a garage floor estimate.  Their price was more than double estimates from Rhino Flooring & Columbus Garage Floor Coating.  The product is beautiful but requires periodic re-sealing.  Re-sealing would require me to move everything out of my garage, which is not something I'm not interested in doing. <br /> Estimator also committed a monumental error when he offered me a substantial discount if I would sign a contract that day, which is always a red flag. <br /> Again, a beautiful product...but not the best for garages.  I felt the other two companies provided a better product at a better price. <br />"

"The Salesperson (Stephen) is great to deal with, although, at times, very difficult to contact. This is understandable as he is not only managing his Employees but the Sales portion as well. The person who answered the phone when calling was, in my book, the worst Customer Service rep for this company anyone could hire. She was vague and told me lie after lie regarding many aspects of this project. That issue has been resolved. Fortunately, Stephen took care of our issue personally and all worked out for the best! The Installation crew (Rob and his 2 Assistants) were the best! They were cordial, knowledgeable and informed us with every aspect and any changes that needed to be made. They were awesome. In conclusion, Outdoor Installations came through with flying colors and would highly recommend."

This was a huge project - very large 3-car garage that I wanted to have remodeled with a top quality floor covering and extensive storage cabinetry. - I am an exceptionally meticulous, detail oriented researcher. The first thing I did was identify businesses that do this work and check out their backgrounds. Not only do I look at customer satisfaction websites (BBB, Angies, etc.) but I also search legal records to identify civil and criminal actions taken. I narrowed my choices to two companies that had stellar records, GFC was one of them. (BTW, a big name in this business in the Cincinnati area has a horrendous record - do your homework!) - Next, I compared products. Both companies I selected do great work, but I found the floor coating proprietary system/product used by GFC to be industrial quality and superior. Regarding the cabinetry, that too, was superior in strength and anticipated durability. My research paid off. The workmanship was flawless, dealing with company employees was a pleasure from start to finish, and in short things could not have gone better. This is not an inexpensive proposition, but I learned long ago it's better and cheaper to do things right ONE time, than have to repeat a job. What I have now is a lifetime high-quality addition to my home that is easy to maintain and exceptionally functional that has added huge value to my property."
