If your space has a layout that is not working, hasn't been updated or is a new home in need of an update or total overhaul - I'd love to help. I work on projects that have an overall budget beginning at $25,000. My design fee is based on the scope of the project and customization, with a minimum design fee of 5k. I do offer a 1-day consultation for $800 if you need fresh eyes and some insight into what would benefit your space. This meeting is typically 5-6 hours long. I promise prompt, personal and professional service and attention to detail in everything I do. Years of experience enable me to see challenges and possibilities that are unique to your project, and I treat your home as if it were my own. "I recommend Allshire highly and without reservation. Russ, John, and all their crews were professional and we felt comfortable throughout the process. Our bathroom was fully gutted and rebuilt (with same footprint) - the end result was fantastic and I believe the value was very high. Just to make others aware - we had a fair amount of back and forth with the inspectors from our township and had several hardware items delivered to our house that were broken so they had to be re-ordered - so job took longer than we (and Allshire) expected. That said, the company has many positive attributes: 1) communication is solid 2) attitude is positive and professional 3) final workmanship very high 4) pricing very reasonable 5) overall demeanor is friendly and flexible which is what we wanted. We will call them again when we get ready to remodel our kitchen. Allshire is a good company because it is made of good people."

"I downsized to a condo that was very tired when I bought it. It needed a complete overhaul and I had no idea of where to start. I met with Teang and she asked me lots of questions and showed me many concepts and was happy to work with me even though I really had no idea of what I wanted or my budget for the project. The only guidance I could give was I wanted a place that felt like home. I need to see something with my eyes to know if I will like it or not. I have a hard time to visualize what something is going to look like from a sketch or description. Teang had many ideas for different areas of my home from structure to colors and materials and I had to just trust that she knew what she was doing. But in every case I loved the end result and it was better than I could have hoped for. Teang was willing to work with me in the way I wanted to do the project. I wanted to use a contractor that I had used in many projects in the past for some of the work and I wanted to do some of the work myself. And she supplied the contractors for the more complicated tasks. It all ran smoothly. I look forward to working with her on the last phase as we remodel the bedrooms. Dwight M. Herdrich, AIA Architect is a multi-disciplinary design firm with over 25 years experience in Architecture, Site Planning, Interior Design, Acoustic Design, Graphic Design, Kitchen Cabinetry and Furniture Design. Projects completed over the years include everything from small home additions, to 100,000 square foot Worship Centers, and many varieties in between. A native of Michigan, Dwight moved to Maine in 1993 following a few years in San Diego, California, where he moved upon completion of his Masters of Architecture at the University of Michigan. After working for a few mid-sized architectural firms in Portland, Maine, Dwight joined Houses & Barns by John Libby in 1998, designing many of the beautiful homes that they have built. After an extended hiatus of pursuing projects on his own in Sarasota, Florida, Dwight returned to Maine in 2011, and continued his passion for innovating the New England vernacular, basing his firm in the Portland, Maine region. Dwight moved back to his home state of Michigan in 2019, where he established the firm, and has done several commercial renovation projects and residential projects in the state, as well as still working on projects in Maine. He lives with his wife and three children in Ann Arbor.

"The quality of the work is very poor. Sanding of pavers got stuck to pavers. My steps got ruined. Weeds are back in less than a week. The material quoted was 3 times higher than the material used. I would not care about it if the finishing would have been neat. Installing weed barrier and mulching is the most basic that any inexperienced landscaper would do it right. In my yard, that was also not perfect."
