"Awesome! I worked with Ed at Main Line Kitchens to design our kitchen during a very stressful whole house renovation / expansion. To say he worked with me is an understatement. Ed might just have earned his counselor credentials as he guided me through some uncertainties, even calling me late one night from home after receiving a distressed email about a decision I was making. He ultimately helped steer me towards a cabinet line that fit my desired look, features, timeline, and budget and helped me see the pros and cons of the choices made along the way. He never pressured me and was able to accommodate a seemingly impossible timeline. He even came out to measure twice without complaint when my contractors weren't ready the first time -- not at all his fault -- but he was gracious and kind and took it in stride. Ed was personable and easy to work with and I never felt like a number in his book. When we received our cabinets I wasn't happy with a couple doors (normal issues you would anticipate with a large order and a perfectionist on the receiving end) Ed worked with the vendor and had them replaced and shipped immediately to me and the job wasn't delayed. The vendor even called direct to ensure I was happy with the replacements. It is clear MLK has a strong reputation with their suppliers. Ed was quick with recommendations for other vendors when I needed materials fast for flooring, countertops, etc. and all the other vendors knew and respected Main Line and Ed. Our new kitchen is truly the center of our home and we have Ed to thank for bringing it all together. I would recommend Ed and MLK to anyone in need of kitchen design services and cabinetry. In fact, I already have. I did my due diligence and shopped around and was very happy with the competitive pricing that came along with the white glove service and hand holding I received through this process. The expertise from the team at Main Line can't be matched. "Haley was thorough and made sure to prepare me beforehand so that I could start setting myself up for success before she actually arrived. When she arrived, she was thoughtful, asked questions that would help me think about how I wanted to use the space and how others in our home needed to use the space and was just a general weight off of my shoulders. "John was very responsive. I needed cabinets to match the ones already in my new house. He was able to identify the exact cabinet from a distributor who only works with contractors, he placed the order immediately and worked out # of cabinets, drawers and glass doors would suit my needs and the space. He also provided samples of counter tops for me to choose from, did measurements and acquired the top. Unfortunately the doors to one cabinet were warped and he has been working with the distributor to correct this. My favorite aspect of working with John is that he is very communicative regarding any scheduling issues, changes, etc. I can expect a call from him first thing in the morning to confirm work to be done and if I am not home he very apologetically will contact me during the day with any questions. He is also neat and cleans up any mess. He is very sensitive to functionality - it actually bothers him if something does not work correctly or is not installed in a way that is most useful. I've used him on any number of other projects as he seems to be able to do just about anything! Which is also why I could not exactly isolate the cost for this particular project."

"We are moving from a traditional large 100 year old home in the heart of West Chester Boro to a contemporary home in a wooded setting. The new home has a significant mountain house flair but we wanted to have a more sophisticated look. Our current furniture does not match the style of the home. We had a color specialist from Sherwin Williams get us started in the consideration of flooring and paint color choices. Karen was able in her initial 2 hour visit to create a great overall plan for the development of an interior presentation that brings sophistication and style that we were not able to pull together on our own. She spent time assessing the assets of the home itself and then build a plan for displaying the architectural design the home has to offer and accentuate that without being too trendy. Not Pottery Barn or Renovation Hardware. It was a very individual assessment of the home and what to do for paint, flooring, railings, furniture, lighting and accessories that would bring out the best in the home for what it is. And that was just in the 2 hour initial meeting. We were very impressed with Karen and look forward to working with her in the future. If you want an individualized approach to maximizing the assets of your home using a very sophisticated palate, Karen is the perfect choice."

"We are currently awaiting delivery of our new furnishings but have been very pleased so far with the design and responsiveness of our lead designer, Kiki. We needed to upgrade and furnish multiple rooms in our house, and Kiki "got" our style right away and met our needs with flexibility for an infant-friendly design. We are also planning to use MDG for phase 2 of possible renovation/space planning work in conjunction with their architect referral. All in all, we are very happy so far with the services!"
