"I hired Masterscaping to install a 7-zone irrigation system. Barry was my POC, but I never met him; his team did the 2-week install. The contract included reassembling the yard and laying sod, but they removed so much dirt that noticeable dips were left, making the yard uneven. I was told it would "grow in," but it never did. Barry promised a free winterization but ignored my multiple requests to schedule it. In spring, I found a nozzle leak, sent him pictures, and followed up multiple times. No one came, so I fixed it myself using YouTube. While the installation was solid, the lack of follow-through ruined the experience. Ten months later, my yard is still uneven, and the sod in the back remains bare. I?ve spent hours leveling, laying topsoil, and replanting grass. If you?re considering Masterscaping, know that while the installation may meet your expectations, any issues that arise afterward will likely be your responsibility to fix. For this reason alone, I can?t recommend them."

"On top of being overcharged, they did a bad, sloppy job, and they also destroyed the rest of my yard. I have to repair my fence and redo everything they did. I paid most of the ESTIMATE (90%) in advance as a sign of good faith. Once the job was done, I knew that it came in under the estimate. I asked for a line-item invoice so I could see how much I had remaining of my deposit to apply to other services (that were discussed with the owner before the estimate). I never got the invoice, but I did get ANOTHER bill for the remainder of the ESTIMATE, with a threat that they would put a lien on my house if I didn’t pay. So if you value transparency, honesty, and good customer service, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY"

"Worst experience ever. First their equipment broke down and they couldn't meet the agreed upon date. Next we try to work together due to wet weather conditions and a different guy shows up with a loader. I helped with ideas on where to park it until weather clears up. Text several times about when it would be dry enough to perform the dirt work and place gravel. Via text we agreed to look at the weather today and decide at noon. 1 pm the guy shows up with gravel, and states he is not taking it back. Its mine. "If you don't take it it will be considered theft". Wait? What? You didn't confirm as agreed but i'm the thief? Wow... Dumps gravel in front of my camper so that I can't move the camper to place the gravel. Now I have to get someone else to move the gravel, then hire someone to finish the job. The guy did apologize that I set him off and that he was having a a bad day. I paid for the gravel and he left. Now to figure out who to trust to help me."
