"The staff at the show room are disinterested at best. I was offered little help on the show room floor and no one was available for questions, so you wind up lugging fairly heavy squares of samples up to the desk for any questions you might have. A very friendly technician then came to my house and measured. A crew came to do the tear out and install after the counters were facbricated, an noticed the measurements had been wrong. they corrected the issue immediately by calling the shop and having two of the three pieces I had ordered re-cut immediately. They came back later that afternoon to install them. The finished product was beautiful. However, the reason I give the a grade of B is that they do not re-install your plumbing, you have to get another contractor. Well that's fine, they're very up front about that part. But when they pulled out my old sink they took essential pieces with them needed to reconnect my garbage disposal- and as I'm not a plumber I didn't realize. So by the time the plumbers got there (several days later due to the re-fab of the countertops and my work schedule) nothing could be done and I had to spring for a new disposal, and extra $175 I wasn't expecting to have to spend. Another reason for the B is the lack of professionalism from the office staff. I got countertops installed Tuesday (again, waiting until late afternoon for the guys to come back), worked a 7a-7p shift Wednesday- and literally Thursday they were calling for colections. when I told them I was at work and would have to come by on my next day off they wanted to know my working hours as if I was an account thirty days past due, not installed a single business day ago! I gave them no trouble about the incorrect measurements or the garbage disposal, and to be treated like a delinquent account really rubbed me the wrong way! <br />"

"My wife and I wanted new hard woods in our house but had very specific requirements that we could not typically find locally.  My wife wanted a dark floor while I wanted extreme durability in a natural hard wood.  We did our homework and decided that Brazilian Walnut (Ipe) most closely matched what we wanted.  <br /> After looking locally for something that fit the bill, the flooring we found was either over $12 sq/ft (too expensive) or not dark enough.  I started searching on-line and ran across Brazilian Direct.  Their prices seemed reasonable (a bit over $6 sq/ft for what we wanted) and they even had a tinted (dark) version of the floor we liked. <br /> After several weeks of questions and further research, we decided to place an order.  We we worked with a representative named Sannon who helped us every step of the way.  She sent us samples, instructions, guides - everything to make us more comfortable about our eventual order.  Our order came right on schedule and the wood was really beautiful.  After several weeks of the required acclimation we had a local installer put the floor down.  They did an excellent job and we really love our floor.  There was very little waste and in fact we had at least 3 boxes left over. <br /> I highly recommend Brazilian Direct.  We are considering using them again for a deck project we'd like to do in the future. <br />"

"The countertop looks great! Richard and his guys were highly professional and did an excellent job on installation.  They caulked it to prefection.  I'm extremely satisfied with the the quality of Richard's work and would recommend him to anyone looking to remodel their kitchen. <br />"

"This was our first remodeling job and I learned alot about what to <br /> expect and the right questions to ask.  The cabinets are beautiful, but <br /> were not quite the quality I had in mind.  The insides of the cabinets are smaller, and more "chopped up" than I would have expected.  But I didn't know to  ask questions about the inside.  My mind was only on the outside looks.  The workers were nice and clean, but not perfectionists so I had them back several times to fix little issues.  <br /> They completed the job to my satisfaction. <br /> The granite countertops are perfect.  We had no problems with the <br /> installation.  The workmen were nice, neat and efficient.  They did not <br /> have a lot of choices when we were deciding on colors.  But I am happy with the finished look. <br />"

"The price was a lot more than estimated. I was very upset with the price. He didn't bring the color we picked out. He didn't get the molding right. They gave us discounts for these mistakes. He just wanted to get rid of what he had in stock. A drawer is stuck, and they won't fix it properly. It still doesn't open. I wasn't pleased at all. My kitchen looks good, but we overpaid."

"I have used several Granite Gold products and like their effectiveness because they do what they are supposed to do. No strong fumes or irritating skin problems. The granite counter top daily cleaner and polish are so easy to use (spay it on and wipe with a paper towel) to keep all your stone products clean and shiny. I was surprised to see how effective the grout cleaner is. I sprayed it on some dirty tire floors in the bathroom and let it sit for a couple of minutes. Then I went over it with the scrub brush they provide. It looked clean then, but when it dried, it was much brighter. This is a 40 Year old bathroom tile floor pictured. Granite Gold also provides excellent professional support."

"The first day install of the walk in door was ok except the door was hinged to open out in the wrong direction. The build of the barn style bay door did not go well and essentially 3 hours after my brother suggested how to attach the plywood on the outside they did so and stopped for the day. When I complained as I considered the men not able to do the job the boss Randy came out on Monday with the same 2 men and claimed that we didn't specify how the door should open and stated that there would be no extra charge to do the build right. We (my brother and I) explained "Old School" side hinged bay doors were built out of wood and not just a metal frame with plywood put only on the outside as they thought. The workmen then went to work building the door as we asked with interior and exterior casing over the metal frame. The owner Randy Tudor had claimed when he was there that he didn't have his notes with so could not say what the price was. When the job was complete he failed to come to get payment and sent a text message indicating the total was 1625.00 for the job. Today, Wednesday after texting back and forth a couple of times he showed up and provided a receipt for the agreed sum of 1200.00 for the job and accepted payment stating he wasn't going to argue the price."
