"I hired RCL Home Service to install railings on the steps at my home, and the experience has been extremely disappointing. At the time of installation, I expressed concerns about how loosely the railings were secured. Unfortunately, those concerns were justified?since then, the railings have become completely detached. The railings came with proper hardware, but it was not used. Instead, the installer chose screws that were far too small for the job. All of the original hardware, including the wrenches, was taken with them, leaving nothing behind. I paid in full for the work, and I have repeatedly requested that they return to properly repair and secure the railings, so the job is completed correctly. I was told they would come back when the weather improved. We have had several warm days suitable for repairs, yet no follow?up and no attempt to make things right. I have given them every opportunity to address this issue. "

"My wife and I decided last year to remodel our kitchen. We went through a number of builders, most of whom never showed up to scheduled appointments. The few who did we weren't pleased with because they kept telling us what they would do instead of listening to what we wanted done. We recently had the pleasure of working with Adam on a complete kitchen remodel, and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Within fifteen minutes of meeting him we felt confident we had the right person. He listened to what we wanted and went out of his way to explain how he could make it happen. We now have pot lights throughout the ceiling and under cupboard lights that are very welcome in the mornings, as they can be dimmed so you're not slapped with the brilliance of a thousand suns first thing in the a.m. As with all remodels there were some changes made along the way and he was able to adapt & always remained very professional. We had him redo the stairs to the basement (which are attached to the kitchen entrance) and the result was a work of art. Walking down the basement stairs no longer gives the impression that you're rolling the dice on whether or not they can support you all the way to the bottom. Sturdy and confident on every step. The new kitchen flooring made the rest of the house look bad so we had him lay it out into the living room and hallway. And again, it looks like it was made for the house. We waited six months to write this review to ensure everything was done correctly. Quite often you lose the thrill and start regretting some of the work that was done. Not in this case. Everything has held up perfectly & we have no regrets with our transformed kitchen. Adam’s work is exceptional, and his dedication to quality is unmatched. "Consumer Alert!! Buyer beware!! This spring we hired Roofsmith to install a new roof on our building. A condition of the contract was the manufacturer would need to stop out to the job site to inspect and certify the installation in order to receive the warranty. Roofsmith never had the manufacture inspect and certify as promised. The roof leaked within a few weeks of installation. As a result, we started to increase the frequency and intensity in which we requested the roof to be properly certified. We received excuse after excuse with no action taken. We began to contact the manufacturer directly and we discovered that Roofsmith did not use the materials that we contracted to install. They pulled a classic bait and switch scam with inferior grade products. We are now in the process of litigation with Roofsmith because of their faulty workmanship, false claims and fraudelant acts.
