"I called Jimmy and we scheduled to meet to get a quote for removing 2 decent size maple trees, stump grinding, removing the dead wood and trimming 3 very large trees on our property. Jimmy was punctual, very friendly and professional. He gave me a very reasonable quote and we scheduled the work with Jimmy a few days later. Jimmy and his crew came out the day he told us and completed the job in a timely manner. He and his crew are very friendly and professional. "Getting an estimate and scheduling with A Better Tree was more of a fluid process than I'm accustomed to. There was some rescheduling and talk of shooting for certain weeks with a call a day or two ahead of time. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, just something everyone should be aware of, as some might not be comfortable or able to accommodate this type of arrangement.

The estimate with Dale went well and I appreciated his honest and straightforward approach to doing business. We discussed which items needed to be addressed, those that could wait but would need to be taken care of in the coming years, and those, which could be left alone. After agreeing on which items I would like to be considered, he wrote up an estimate. It wasn't the lowest I received but it was far from the highest. I ultimately went with A Better Tree based on price, comfort of doing business with Dale during the estimate, and his method of climbing trees rather than brining in a truck with bucket.

As I mentioned, scheduling of the work was more fluid than some people might be accustomed to. Thankfully I had enough flexibility to consider their approach, but I'm sure there are others who need something more ridged and concrete. Dale and his crew arrived in the morning and promptly got to work. They worked quickly and efficiently with Dale climbing, roping, and cutting, and the others lowering and removing debris.

I was very pleased with the quality of their work and the value I received. Furthermore, I had multiple neighbors inquire about A Better Tree after seeing the results and learning the cost for services was much more reasonable than they expected or, in some cases, had paid a different company in the past.

Although I have since moved, I have recommended them to several friends and would have no hesitation using A Better Tree again, if I returned to central Indiana.

"Yesenia Lara is a great small company to work with. They removed our old flower garden wall and replaced it with new blocks. That was not easy because of the contour of the yard. But with a lot of thought they got it done. It looks professional. They removed the old vegetation and replaced it with dirt and mulch for the new flower garden. They put mulch around the front of the house, around a tree and Lilac Hedge. They planted a Japanese Maple and installed a pop-up drain. They are very thoughtful, professional and you can tell by the final outcome. Great Job. Thank-You."

They provide maintenance for my lawn, the combination of products they use is just perfect for my lawn, my grass is green, healthy and free of weeds. Last year, I met with Cameron, and we talked about outdoor lighting. He recommended a set of Bluetooth color changing lights. As you can see from the pictures, you can seamlessly change the lighting colors from your phone. There is a huge array of colors, with the option of alternating the scene with up to three different colors. The installation was quick and efficient and the product worked right away. They have a very good warranty and don't consume a lot of energy. The price was reasonable and scheduling was very quick, even in the middle of January. 3. This spring, they mulched and cleaned my mulch beds for the first time ever, I have always done this myself thinking I can cut costs. It is totally worth it to let professionals do this. As you can see from the pictures, the level of detail in every mulch bed is something I can't achieve. They also buried the downspouts, this helps tremendously to control water from coming in the basement. This was done two weeks ago, and you can't notice the cuts in the grass anymore. The price was reasonable, and the work was done very well. Overall, I give Start to Finish a 5 out of 5 in every aspect of their work.
