The first was installation of granite countertops in our kitchen and the second was installation of granite countertops in two bathrooms. <br /> Steve and his employees at Rock Hard Granite were a joy to work with. They do high quality work at a very reasonable price. Great communication with Steve, punctual, and do what they say they are going to do on a project. "Tile Outlet was originally a back-up plan - which turned out to be a real blessing.  When the guy who had first committed to the backsplash bailed on us, we were down to the wire, and a neighbor suggested we call Tile Outlet in Caldwell. The guy who runs the place was open, honest and responsive to our need.  In less than 3 business days, his 2 person crew came out, did the kitchen and the new baths.  The guys on the crew were positive, professional and efficient.  This outfit knows how to get the job done right the first time.  They were cooperative and very helpful. They even fixed and repaired 2 gouges in the new countertop left by the "too busy to stay" granite installers.  Great work.  The price I was quoted was a few dollars less than the bill, but for all the work and help, it was very reasonable.  There was quite a bit of work including some custom glass tile set in the rest of the work.  I'd use this company and these guys in a heartbeat. <br />"

"I contracted Eric to restore my dining room walls, ceiling and floors after ice-**** damage. At first, everything went well, and Eric was very responsive. Because we had to wait for the hardwood flooring to arrive, the job dragged on for weeks--actually for a few months, and as time went on, it was clear that my job was a "filler." Eric's team worked on the project when they had time. The guys who showed up were all very nice, but from what I could tell, they lacked the skills and/or attention to detail that I believed was warranted. (The painting lines along the ceiling line is very jagged and inconsistent. There are areas along the wall where the painting was incomplete. The hardwood planks are installed such that unstained sides show, and the wall retexturing does not match the existing.) I sent many emails to Eric, after nearly every time one of his team members worked on the project, explaining my concerns, as well as my uncertainty about the quality of work I should/could expect from him and his team. He always sent someone to address the issue, but they always left without fixing the problem/s. Needless to say, the back and forth was frustrating, and toward the end, I became resolved that I wasn't going to get the level of workmanship I had hoped for. I requested that Eric come to my home and meet with me. Maybe I was being too fastidious, and if so I wanted him to review the inconsistencies with me and let me know if he thought I should/could expect a fix. Eric refused to come meet me. In an email, he said he "had no intention" of coming. He was too busy elsewhere, but he'd send his "No. 1 guy." That guy showed up, and he too was very nice, he did not adequately address my concerns. At that point, I gave up and just agreed to send the final payment. I'm left very disappointed that he chose not to meet with me to review my concerns. Furthermore, besides being unsuccessful at completing the job satisfactorily, the "No. 1 guy" left a terrible mess from the spray-on texturing application he used to "fix" the job. And given that it took them a lot of tries to match both the color and type of paint, they ended up with about a dozen gallon cans, all of which they left in my garage, along with extra insulation that I then had to dispose of. The photos include examples of what was done in 2012 and what was done recently by Remedy Residential."

We almost replaced the entire main floor, but Capell Flooring educated us on the quality of our existing wood and how it could be saved. Justin spent so much time showing us how refinishing the floors with the right stain would transform them, even sampling different colors on extra pieces until it was perfect. They saved us so much money and the result is absolutely beautiful—we don’t despise our floors anymore! The team was incredibly respectful of our home while we were away, texting progress pictures often. They would have put our trim back on but we installed new trim ourselves. They felt like good friends who took genuine pride in perfecting our home. We will always recommend and return to Capell Flooring!"
