"Simeon did an unbelievable job installing our new kitchen cabinets. We have an older home so he had to work with uneven floors, walls, and a couple more obstacles . Despite all the issues, the finished product looks absolutely perfect. His attention to detail is unmatched and it really shows in the finished product. I cannot recommend him enough!"

"Sam and his crew did a fantastic job and were easy and pleasant to work with. Sam is a problem solver. We felt comfortable in his knowledge and he made us feel at ease at every juncture of the job. House exterior painting looks beautiful as does our driveway pavers and tiled roof. His staff’s work ethic is strong. The cost was reasonable for the superior quality of work. We wouldn’t hesitate to use Greenwood Painting again and highly recommend them."

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Bonita Springs, FL

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
