"While house-sitting at a friends house that was just re-painted, I couldn’t help but look at the painting work that had just been done. The level of detail was incredible. The edges were sharp, crisp and straight. I was very impressed. She ended up giving me the number of Bob (The King of the Painters) Lyon. Bob came out and looked over my house. There was a lot of termite damage, the side garage door needed to be replaced and dry rot was prevalent throughout. Fascia, eaves and large beams were in bad shape. All had peeling paint. Bob has an amazing eye for colors. We settled on the color scheme and Bob even picked out the fabric we chose for the awning we had installed out front. After settling on a price (which was VERY reasonable) we set up the date for work to begin. On the day the crew arrived, the project manager (Mike) introduced me to his crew. Dennis Iloff, Jr. Lopez, Alvin Hernandez and last (but certainly not least) Ricardo “Rickey” Duenas. While Mike was tending to other jobs, Ricardo was my point man. He asked all the right questions, always informed me of what the tasks of the day were going to be and answered all my questions with a smile. This crew was thorough and they all seemed to be having fun while working very hard. I couldn’t be happier with the finished product. Bob Lyon is probably the nicest guy you’ll ever meet and his employees show it too. Give them a try. You will NOT be disappointed."

Spent considerable time accessing the interior of my home, making notes as to what needs to be addressed before the painting was to begin. Detailed proposal and description of what needed to be done and what quality paint should be used. You know exactly what will be done. Two coats of quality paint on my walls, casing, molding, doors, fireplace, shelving and window aprons. He told me what paint he uses and the quality of the paint. Sanded doors, molding, window aprons, casings. Washed bathroom wall with simple green before painting these rooms. Very helpful in choosing paint for bedrooms, dining room, living room, bathrooms, kitchen and laundry room. Patched and repairs any holes or cracks in walls before painting begins. Works clean. and methodical throughout the day. Removes blinds, doors, wall plates...or anything else on walls. Reinstalls. Covers everything that needs to be covered. Never leaves a mess behind after the paint day is over. I trusted him and was able to leave him alone in my home while I had errands to run. Honest to a fault. If you can call painting a vocation. "Nile Schmidt is a true professional. I had him paint the outside and inside of a rehab I purchased in late 2008. Almost 1 decade later and the paint job has held up very, very well as I had a contractor over recently who thought the work had been done in the last 2 years (prompting me to write this review). Nile is great and easy to work with and his team is prompt and meticulous. If you want quality work done in a timely fashion at a reasonable price, I can't recommend anyone better than Nile and The Painting Company!"

"My experience with the Painting Company is what I wish all homeowners would have when they hire a local small business that is passionate about what they do and strives to exceed their customer’s expectations. I found them on Angi’s list, and they already had an impressive list of referrals. From the very first interaction (with Joel) they were responsive, polite, thorough, and transparent about what they could and couldn’t do. We required several stucco repairs – some not easy, as well as an indoor project for painting. Oscar is clearly an expert in his field and took the time and care to complete all work with an exceptional degree of workmanship. He was able to perfectly blend the new stucco to the older paint and texture and he painted larger areas than were originally discussed in order for the work to look seamless. Over the 3 days, the work areas were cleaned up neatly at the end of the day and Oscar made a point of saying hello and goodbye each day, which might seem like a small thing however speaks to the professionalism displayed. We could not be happier, and we would not hesitate to hire the Painting Company again. Highly recommend!"
