"We had 5 companies bid for this job. Jesse B. from Joe's Paving took the time to listen to what we wanted and did a great job explaining the scope of the work required. The project was a long narrow driveway shared with two other neighbors. We had to do a combination of concrete and asphalt because of the grade in the drive. They coordinated each section well and worked ahead of schedule. Jesse also helped arrange delivery and installation of rocks for ground cover near the asphalt around our house. "First of all Gene, the owner of Par Asphalt not only listens but provides wonderful suggestions as to how to improve your driveway. He was the only asphalt company, we had three give proposals, who suggested an asphalt border.  His suggestion of installing a border has really improved the looks of our new landscaped yard.  His price was fantastic, and the quality of his workmanship even better. <br /> They were to start at 7:30am on the 30th and that is when they arrived.  They are a family run business with both a son, daughter, and close friend being the crew, and Gene the father, supervising.  The work was done carefully and well.  They prepped the pavers that adjoin the circular driveway so that our pavers would not get asphalt on them.  They were careful of our yard.  They worked efficiently and with care. I had to call Gene after they sealed the driveway as our irrigation system was being inspected that afternoon and I did not know if it was ok to have water on the sealed driveway. Gene called back within minutes letting me know it was fine.   <br /> They came back the next day, again exactly when they said they would be here, and sealed the driveway.  Our driveway looks great. It was a pleasure doing business with such a professional company that is so customer service oriented. <br /> Yes, we would use them again. In fact, Gene said they will send us a notice in 3 years to remind us to get our driveway sealed again. You can bet we will use Par Asphalt to do our next sealcoat. <br /> Yes, we would recommend them. <br />"

"The job, in the beginning, was going well; however, after they were finished and before the seal coat, the asphalt started to erupt in many places. I called the owner and he came over to inspect. Since the company neglected to spray a weed killer prior to the asphalt there is a huge problem with weeds coming up through the asphalt. They have repaired several areas 2 times and the last time the repairs were very sloppy. The weeds are coming back up even where they repaired. Again they neglected to spray for weeds and pull the roots. Also in our contract with them, they were suppose to put 4 inches of asphalt. In many of the areas the asphalt is very thin and at the most 3 inches. The owner of the company is doing his best to fix the problem but I would never recommend them to anyone."

"Great! I called for a bid and they came within a few days. Even though I had 2 more bids, I liked Jacques Paving’s plan which including removing the roots from our Torrey Pine tree. They used a small backhoe to remove the roots and finished the whole job in one day. They returned one month later to put a sealer on the asphalt."

"Team showed up on time and quickly organized into specific duties. They were very efficient and thorough. Control of traffic was taken care of in the street. All workers were pleasant and seemed to work well with each other. They finished the job by late afternoon and before leaving swept the street and every other area impacted by their work. They returned the next day to spread a layer of sand. My driveway looks new and I am very pleased. <br />"
