"when tech showed up the dryer seemed to be working and heating however it did not when I called, seemed the heating element was cracked creating and off and on working condition. I went ahead to repair the problem by purchasing a new heating element. I was surprised however that the tech expected me to pay in full before he ordered the part and repaired the problem, but I did using my credit card knowing if there was a issue the credit card co. would have my back, The part was order and Alex fixed it as soon as it came in and was great"

"We called Robert Plumbing to remove the above mentioned items so we could have our floors redone.   They quickly removed the items and when called, set up a time to replace the items.  They did a great job (even gave me a 5% discount).  However, when they reinstalled the sink and toilet, I got charged $60 more than when they took 5 items out.   <br /> I was told that it always costs more to install as they have to use silicone for the sink and put a new ring in for the toilet.  Sounded right to me but was still unsure as to the huge increase. <br /> After I paid by check and they left, I took a closer look at the bill and noticed they charged me 1.5 hours for the installation when they were there less than 45 minutes!.   <br /> I called the office and spoke to Joe who said that wasn't right and had the front office correct it.  I was then charged for only an hours' work (they don't charge for any less) and was told they would shred the check I gave them and to send them a new one. <br /> Would I recommend them?  You bet as the office knows how to treat customers and their workers did a great job. <br />"

"I received my radon results in a timely manner. I did not hire them specifically, (so, I cannot say I would hire them again) the local company contracted them for this service. The home inspector I hired, handled this service for me and included the results in his report."

"<strong>** CALL FIRST PRIOR TO DRILLING WATER WELL **</strong> I found Advanced Assistance For Water Well Clients (AAWWC) on the web while looking for water well drilling companies to inspect my personal water well. AAWWC is a public service provided by Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LA DOTD) that provides free water well information. <br /> <br /> <strong>Prior to this report AAWWC was not listed on Angie's List and was added to the list as a result of this report.</strong> <br /> <br /> At AAWWC I spoke to a very nice gentleman named Harvey Christian, whom took the time out of his busy day to talk to me, for a little over a half an hour, politely answering several questions I had about my personal water well and water wells in general, despite the fact of having just completed work on a major drilling project the day before and was working on a backlog of paperwork when I called. <br /> <br /> Harvey stated that you should be informed, there are facts you should know before you drill and before hiring a water well contractor, and that AAWWC is there to help you maximize your likelihood of securing a good, safe, rural household water supply. <br /> <br /> I had no information about my personal water well as it was drilled prior to the purchase of my home 7 years ago. Harvey stated that he could look up the information for me, and get back with me (he was having computer problems) and all he needed was my home address.  We ended our conversation on a positive note and both went about our individual daily work. MUCH TO MY SURPRISE, Harvey called me back that very afternoon, something I did not expect, and provided vital information about my personal water well, for which I thanked him. <br /> <br /> <strong>Advanced Assistance For Water Well Clients (AAWWC) provided an OUTSTANDING SERVICE for me</strong>, and while I was not looking to drill another water well, Harvey gave me the name of the original water well drilling company (something I did not know) from whom I could contract, should I want, to have them inspect, repair, and if desired properly plug and cap my personal water well. <br /> <br /> <strong>I highly recommend anyone considering drilling a water well on their property, or has questions about the own personal water well, in the Shreveport / Bossier City area (and surrounding communities), to first call Advanced Assistance For Water Well Clients (AAWWC) to get vital information they can use prior to drilling, and/or hiring a water wall company to do the work. </strong>"

FAQs for sump pump repair or replace projects in Bossier City, LA

Sump pumps last about 10 years with proper maintenance and prompt repairs. Several factors can influence your sump pump’s lifespan, such as usage, environmental conditions, and installation. Premium sump pumps with heavy-duty motors and quality components tend to last longer than lower-cost models. Pedestal sump pumps usually last longer than submersible models since they’re not constantly exposed to water.

A basement French drain is a drainage system installed in basements or around a building’s foundation to redirect water and prevent flooding. This system features a trench with a perforated pipe that catches and transports water away. These systems can crack, freeze, or clog, potentially resulting in flooding or strain on your sump pump.

You can use a sump pump in your yard to minimize pooling water and landscape damage, but it’s best used in conjunction with other drainage systems. This can include French drains, trench drains, underground downspouts, and other equipment. Proper lawn care, such as soil aeration and native plants, also aids with drainage.
