"My wife and I wanted new hard woods in our house but had very specific requirements that we could not typically find locally.  My wife wanted a dark floor while I wanted extreme durability in a natural hard wood.  We did our homework and decided that Brazilian Walnut (Ipe) most closely matched what we wanted.  <br /> After looking locally for something that fit the bill, the flooring we found was either over $12 sq/ft (too expensive) or not dark enough.  I started searching on-line and ran across Brazilian Direct.  Their prices seemed reasonable (a bit over $6 sq/ft for what we wanted) and they even had a tinted (dark) version of the floor we liked. <br /> After several weeks of questions and further research, we decided to place an order.  We we worked with a representative named Sannon who helped us every step of the way.  She sent us samples, instructions, guides - everything to make us more comfortable about our eventual order.  Our order came right on schedule and the wood was really beautiful.  After several weeks of the required acclimation we had a local installer put the floor down.  They did an excellent job and we really love our floor.  There was very little waste and in fact we had at least 3 boxes left over. <br /> I highly recommend Brazilian Direct.  We are considering using them again for a deck project we'd like to do in the future. <br />"

"Roger Steward came to my home to give me an estimate. He was puntual, polite, and professional. The price for the granite installation was fair. The company I ultimately went with was $500 less and installed it within two weeks. Since we are selling our home, we had a tight timeframe for the cabinet door replacement. The quote for replacement was high at $5400 (we ended up paying about half of that) and his estimate was five weeks for installation. We couldn't wait that long."

"I have used several Granite Gold products and like their effectiveness because they do what they are supposed to do. No strong fumes or irritating skin problems. The granite counter top daily cleaner and polish are so easy to use (spay it on and wipe with a paper towel) to keep all your stone products clean and shiny. I was surprised to see how effective the grout cleaner is. I sprayed it on some dirty tire floors in the bathroom and let it sit for a couple of minutes. Then I went over it with the scrub brush they provide. It looked clean then, but when it dried, it was much brighter. This is a 40 Year old bathroom tile floor pictured. "Proshop Building Products did the original install when we built the house almost 7 years ago. We were well pleased with their work, service, attention to detail and quality. I have never even heard of a sink just falling out. Something was weird. <br /> I first called them about noon on Friday to explain my predicament. They wondered if we wanted them to come out right away. We had other sinks so did not consider it an emergency. By the end of the day Friday we had an appointment for first thing Monday morning. When Monday morning arrived we were anxious for them to arrive and figure out what happened. When they were not going to arrive at the scheduled time, I received a call letting me know they would be a few minutes late. They arrived and went straight to work. We do have an oversize, commercial grade kitchen sink. Still, they could think of no reason why this would happen. They soon discovered that the wood on the back of the cabinet had been cut to accommodate the plumber's install of the faucets. Over the years the weakened cabinet structure just gave way and when that happened the sink dropped down still properly attached to the wood. They undid all the plumbing, disposal and removed the damaged wood and attached the sink mounting hardware directly to wall studs. They then reinstalled the sink, sealed the under-mount and reattached all the plumbing and disposal. They saved me a bunch by not having to call a plumber to disconnect and reconnect stuff. They cleaned everything up as if they'd never been here. <br /> Given all the work they had to do, I was surprised but very happy with a bill of only $165. I though it would be more. We'll build again and we'll definitely be using this company. They are fine, professional, friendly people who really get customer service. I can enthusiastically recommend them without reservation."
